Hubby and I had one of our favorite outings on a beautiful summer evening (because yes, it is still technically summer). We love to go to a delightful restaurant overlooking some gardens and a large manmade lake surrounded by a walking path. After dinner we walk on the path to digest dinner.
The sun was setting as we headed out on the path, but we weren’t worried because it is an active park with many people riding paddle boats, strolling, walking dogs, and relaxing on swinging benches. Also the whole area has lights, so you can walk after dark. In fact, there is a mini golf course, and they have illuminated golf balls and field lighting so people can play after sunset.
It’s such a lovely place, any time of year, and any time of day.
There are some office buildings at one end of the lake, and they are quite picturesque at sunset.
As you can see, night had fallen! We continued walking until we had walked the entire path twice around.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit!
