It happened sometime last spring, about a month after being hospitalized for a week with a deadly variety of pneumonia. I had played pickleball a few times and really liked it. But it wasn’t until I emerged from a health crisis that I fully appreciated and felt a rather desperate need for movement and fitness.
I mean, I’ve always been active. But now I’m somewhat obsessed, and pickleball is probably my favorite sport of all time. I’m playing a few times a week, building skills, making new friends, and having SO much fun.
Here are a few pictures I took recently of my daughter and some of my pickleball friends. I played some league games in an indoor pickleball gym tonight, and forgot to take any pictures.
Thank you very much for stopping by!
