Recently, my little man was selected by his school to apply to audition for the International musical - School of Rock. Initially he was not so keen to submit an application because if he made it through it would mean traveling internationally for weeks at a time... without me. I explained to him that even if he did make it through, he could still decline and that doing the application and possibly the audition did not mean that he was committing himself to anything just yet.
So he decided to do it. Then, he decided not to do it lol - and last night, less than 24hrs before the applications have to be in, he decided to do it! lol So, needless to say, we had ZERO time left to really practice anything long term and the video HAD to be made today...
They have to submit a 2 minute video of them singing a rock or pop song - and considering that he had essentially NO practice time, I think he did a fantastic job of it!
Whether he gets selected to audition or not, I am still so very proud of him for finding the courage to do it in the first place! He did post the Dtube version on his @judethedude profile too :)
