Earlier, after cleaning our house, I felt so tired but also happy because everything looked neat. I mopped the floor, washed the plates and arranged the things in the living room. When I finished, I decided to take a short rest. Then, I took a bath because I planned to visit my friend Lisa’s garden.
When I arrived, Lisa welcomed me with a smile and showed me around her plants. Her gumamela looks so beautiful, the leaves are very thick and healthy. She said she already gave many of her flowers to others. I’m glad I visited because she told me she will give me a red rose that she just planted.
I’m in love with how beautiful my friend Lisa’s flowers are. Moms and anyone who loves flowers like me would probably enjoy seeing them in person, the pictures on my phone not really show how clear but they’re so cute. That’s why I really wanted to visit her garden I even planned to ask for some flowers to take home.
Her garden is very pretty. She trims the santan plants. Lisa said watering all the plants makes her tired, so she’s happy when it rains. She only goes out to pay the electricity and water bills or to buy groceries. That is the only time she goes outside.
At the back of her house, there are many worms eating the leaves. She said she didn’t plant it. Lisa said during the rainy season there are many worms, but in the summer the plant looks nice. It doesn’t die even if she doesn’t water it and that is the beauty of this plant.
Last month, that plant at the side of her gate was stolen. She even suspected her cousin, thinking they took it. Two days later, Lisa was surprised when she opened the gate and saw that the plant was returned. So she brought it inside to make sure it wouldn’t get lost again because she plans to transfer it to a new pot.
I said I also have a plant like that, with white in the middle. It’s an ordinary plant called gabi-gabi. Even if you just plant the roots it grows even more when the soil is wet.
Her Bougainvillea takes a long time to bloom. When I visited last time, I thought it had flowers.Lisa said the flowers will be white. She knows white is my favorite color. I really like it, but I’m really looking for a bonsai like that.
My grandmother has one like that flower. Now it’s very big, almost like a tree. I don’t know how old it is because I was still young when my grandmother planted it. The flowers are strong and still alive, but my grandmother and grandfather passed away a long time ago. The flowers are the only memory they left us.
Money Tree is a popular houseplant known for bringing good luck and prosperity. Lisa placed three of these plants outside her house, and she said they have been growing well since she planted them. Hive friends, do you also have Money Trees at your home?
