Hola amigos de #Liketu, por motivos de salud estoy de reposo absoluto en cama por un tiempo determinado y con el transcurso de los días esta situación me ha agobiado, pues es difícil mantener tu cuerpo y mente entretenida para no hacer caso de los dolores y la impaciencia qué trae esperar.
Y durante este tiempo me vino a la mente una figura muy conocida internacionalmente qué tuvo que aguardar cama por largo tiempo y aprendió a utilizar el tiempo en lo que mejor se le daba; pintar.
Cuándo buscaba en que entretener mi mente; actualizar mis cuentas, trabajo, ocio, pintar, escribir, ver series.. me acordé de nuestra querida Frida Khalo y como logró seguir pintando aún cuando no podía moverse.
Esta perseverancia de Frida me hizo recordar lo fuerte que podemos ser nosotras las mujeres, que aún en el mayor de los dolores y las situaciones más adversas buscamos la fuerza para seguir adelante y quizás no como si no hubiese pasado nada, pero si con ganas de vivir, que ese es el motivo más grande de todo ser humano.
Hoy cuando busco como pasar los días sin que la cama me consuma me acuerdo de esta artista y de cuánto sufrió, lo difícil que le pudo haber sido continuar su vida después del accidente, pero sobre todo lo que vivió después y que nos ha motivado a todos los que de una forma u otra apreciamos su arte, porque Frida Khalo no es pintura solo, es letra, es pasión, dolor, orgullo, intransigencia, perseverancia, es todo lo que queremos ser...

Hello friends of #Liketu, due to health reasons I'm on complete bed rest for a while, and as the days go by, this situation has become overwhelming. It's difficult to keep your body and mind occupied so you don't focus on the pain and the impatience that comes with waiting.
And during this time, a very well-known international figure came to mind who had to wait in bed for a long time and learned to use his time doing what he did best: painting.
When I was looking for something to occupy my mind; updating my accounts, work, leisure, painting, writing, watching series... I remembered our beloved Frida Kahlo and how she managed to continue painting even when she couldn't move.
Frida's perseverance reminded me how strong we women can be, that even in the greatest pain and most adverse situations we find the strength to move forward, perhaps not as if nothing had happened, but with a desire to live, which is the greatest motivation of every human being.
Today, as I try to find ways to pass the time without being consumed by the bed, I think of this artist and how much she suffered, how difficult it must have been for her to continue her life after the accident, but above all, what she experienced afterward, which has motivated all of us who, in one way or another, appreciate her art, because Frida Kahlo is not just painting; she is words, passion, pain, pride, uncompromising spirit, perseverance—she is everything we aspire to be...
