Recommended Podcast: Uri Sabat

The podcast recommendation initiative is coming to an end, and today I'm going to talk to you about a podcast that I've been following for about two years. That's how long this channel has been broadcasting in this podcast format. Uri Sabat is the host. He's a radio and television personality, so he already had experience in that world before starting the podcast format on YouTube. Before that, I didn't follow him, but I knew something about him because a few years ago he was the partner of the famous Daniela Blume, a former adult film actress who later became a television guest, or talk show host, as they call them, and even participated in Big Brother. I remember seeing some of her racy videos and, like many today, she has her own OnlyFans channel, in case you're a pervert who consumes that kind of content and are interested. I'm even giving her free publicity. I don't watch all the guests on this podcast either. Only the ones that interest me. Several have been on other podcasts that I also follow. It's very common for guests to be repeated on Spanish podcasts, especially when a topic is current. I started watching this podcast with the episode in which Zazza El ialinao was the guest, which was around the time Zazza posted the video he made in the United States visiting the city devastated by fentanyl. That's where I discovered this podcast, and I liked the way Uri Sabat runs it. At that time, Zazza was also a guest on other podcasts. A while ago, I wrote a review of his channel. Empecé a ver este podcast con el episodio en el que Zazza El ialinao era el invitado, que fue más o menos cuando Zazza publicó el vídeo que hizo en Estados Unidos visitando la ciudad devastada por el fentanilo. Ahí fue donde descubrí este podcast y me gustó la forma en que Uri Sabat lo dirige. En ese momento, Zazza también era invitado en otros podcasts. Hace un tiempo escribí una reseña de su canal. Lo sigo y me gustan sus aventuras visitando barrios peligrosos de todo el mundo.

Uri Sabat has had some very interesting guests, and I have selected two episodes that you might like. At least, that's what happened to me when I watched them. The first one I recommend is the episode with Toni Segarra, a highly successful Spanish advertising executive with a long career. Over the last two years, I've had to refresh my knowledge after spending a long time away from the world of advertising and marketing, so I found this episode very productive, as I enjoy listening to and learning from the experiences of people who have really been successful. Advertising is a fascinating world, which is also where my attraction to studying human behavior and trying to understand our behavior comes from. This episode is very enjoyable to watch, as the conversation between the guest and the interviewer is very entertaining, and Toni Segarra explains things in a way that anyone, whether or not they are an advertising professional, can understand. He has a clear and simple way of communicating, and when you listen to him, it is clear that he has the experience and knowledge necessary to be a relevant voice worth listening to. Today, there are many charlatans who want to impose themselves as experts, leaders, influencers, etc. in a given area, when they are not, and there are people who are used to being sheep, who follow the herd. In this ecosystem, there are several such cases in the Hispanic community. En este ecosistema, hay varios casos así en la comunidad hispana. Por eso prefiero buscar personas que realmente tengan un historial probado de logros, esas son de las que quiero aprender algo.

Now let's move on to another guest, one that I really love. You can't imagine how much I enjoyed the episode with Jordi Segués as a guest. Many of you know who he is. Jordi is very popular on social media and has his own YouTube channel, Instagram, and TikTok. His videos are widely shared. He's another man of marketing, business, and advertising who has succeeded on his own merits. He is his own personal brand and must be making a lot of money with his client portfolio. Of course, he has proven that he really knows what he's doing and gets results. I love watching his videos on social media, where he shares quotes from great thinkers and popular sayings and explains them. There are many that I agree with him on (almost all of them). If there's one influencer you want to follow on social media, this is one of them. At least you'll get something useful out of his videos, instead of wasting all day watching useless, tacky, and vulgar things on TikTok. I'm not saying we shouldn't entertain ourselves for a while with people making fools of themselves on those networks. It's valid and even necessary to get a dopamine rush from watching nonsense, but don't spend hours and hours doing it. Although, in the end, you can do whatever you want. You're free, and I'm not one to tell you what to do. Es otro hombre del marketing, los negocios y la publicidad que ha triunfado por méritos propios. Es su propia marca personal y debe estar ganando mucho dinero con su cartera de clientes. Hay muchos en los que estoy de acuerdo con él (en casi todos). Si hay un influencer al que queréis seguir en las redes sociales, este es uno de ellos. Al menos sacarás algo útil de sus vídeos, en lugar de perder todo el día viendo cosas inútiles, horteras y vulgares en TikTok. No digo que no debamos entretenernos un rato con gente haciendo el ridículo en esas redes. Es válido e incluso necesario recibir una descarga de dopamina viendo tonterías, pero no pases horas y horas haciéndolo. Aunque, al final, puedes hacer lo que quieras. Eres libre y yo no soy nadie para decirte lo que tienes que hacer.
