Second Edition of the Circus Fest

The event began at ten in the morning. I arrived around 11:15 a.m. to wait for the activities to begin. The musical performances by the students of the Acadmei a Torres Music Academy were one of the first activities. I decided to take a walk around all the stands and missed the musical performances of that academy. The sound was not very good, which was a drawback. I hope they improve that detail in the next edition, since for singing and dancing, the sound has to be excellent. There were quite a few booths selling geek-related items. Of course, there were collectible figures, cards, video games, jewelry, and accessories. I liked seeing a booth with books. I miss physical books, but unfortunately, the economic situation prevents me from buying them. For those who wanted to eat or drink something, there were stalls selling milkshakes, cakes, and, of course, cheap hot dogs. They cost a dollar and came with a glass of soda. Like last year, I think they were one of the best-selling stalls. ---- > El evento comenzó a las diez de la mañana. Llegué alrededor de las 11:15 a. m. para esperar a que comenzaran las actividades. Las actuaciones musicales de los alumnos de la Academia de Música Acadmei a Torres fueron una de las primeras actividades. > Fui a dar una vuelta por todos los puestos y me perdí las actuaciones musicales de esa academia. El sonido no era muy bueno, lo cual fue un inconveniente. Espero que mejoren ese detalle en la próxima edición, ya que para el canto y el baile, el sonido tiene que ser excelente. > Había bastantes puestos que vendían artículos relacionados con el mundo geek. Por supuesto, había figuras coleccionables, tarjetas, videojuegos, joyas y accesorios. Me gustó ver un puesto con libros. Extraño los libros físicos, pero lamentablemente la situación económica me impide comprarlos. > Para aquellos que querían comer o beber algo, había puestos que vendían batidos, pasteles y, por supuesto, perritos calientes baratos. Costaban un dólar y venían con un vaso de refresco. Al igual que el año pasado, creo que fueron uno de los puestos que mas vendieron

It was impossible to photograph everyone. Many were dressed as pirates, but they could choose whatever cosplay they wanted. None of them were Superman. I was hoping to see a cosplayer dressed as that superhero, given the recent release of the movie, but no one dared to wear it. There was one cosplayer from the Fantastic Four. Venom, The Phantom of the Opera, Medusa, clowns... There was a wide variety of cosplayers. ---- > La pasarela de cosplay era lo que estaba esperando. Muchos iban vestidos de piratas, pero podían elegir el cosplay que quisieran. > Ninguno de ellos era Superman. Esperaba ver a algún cosplayer vestido como ese superhéroe, dado el reciente estreno de la película, pero nadie se atrevió a ponérselo. De los Cuatro Fantásticos había un cosplayer. Venom, El fantasma de la ópera, Medusa, payasos...
