Weekend at Larafest

Thursday began with the opening ceremony. The president of Larafest, accompanied by the president of the Sheep and Goat Expo, business and government representatives, and the queens of various beauty pageants, welcomed the public. The La Salle Show Band provided musical accompaniment, while various media outlets covered the details of the event. After cutting the ribbon, they toured the entire fairgrounds, visiting the stands of the participating companies. ----- > El jueves comenzó con la ceremonia de inauguración. Similarly, the Buffalo Expo is another of the activities held at Larafest. Livestock farmers from different parts of the country attended. Just walking around the venue was quite a spectacle. Small business owners also had their own area to offer their products. Car dealers also had their own spaces, where they displayed the latest models available, so that anyone with a few thousand dollars could pay for them, sign a contract, and drive away with a new car. ----- > La zona comercial estaba abarrotada.
