Scrolling through my photos is sometimes my therapy on lonely days or stressful days. Each photo gives different emotions as it takes me back many years. Other images make me sad, while others make me smile, but the best photos I always love are when my kids were still chubby potatoes with their cutie smiles.
Until I bumped into these photos, they had been around for four years at Amaya, in Cagayan de Oro. Amaya is one of the best-known tourist attractions in the region. Different fun-filled activities and amenities can be enjoyed at Amaya.
Amaya View is a hilltop, nature plus adventure themed destination located in Sitio Sto. Niño, Indahag Hills, Cagayan de Oro City. It is great for a day trip or a short overnight stay. It is relaxing, scenic, and good for families and couples.
Here are the attractions you can enjoy at Amaya. Panoramic Views / Scenic Overlooks, because it's on a hill, you get good views of the city, especially sunset/night views. Noah’s Ark / Zoo / Aviary, they have a Noah’s Ark replica and actual animals (birds, some mammals). Great for kids. They also have an infinity pool, villas, kubo houses, dining restaurants, and adventure activities such as Paragliding, a playground (“Larry’s Hill”), glass hanging bridges, etc.
The kids really had fun at Noah's Ark, where they saw live mammals and birds. There were also life-sized animal figures that added charm to Amaya, drawing visitors' attention.
The scenic overview was just so amazing, where you can see the whole city of Cagayan de Oro and the Macajalar Bay. The wind was cold and misty, which made the place even more awesome.
The entrance fee was affordable, 100 pesos each for adults and kids. I was able to visit the place again a year ago, and it has undergone a lot of development. They are now having those big aquariums and the glass bridge that is around 50 meters long.
These photos showed how our kids loved the place with their beautiful smiles and giggles. I just love looking at these images, which brought me back in time. That's why I am sharing them with you today here in @worldmappin.
