Welcome to Tree Rings Beach Resort: An Exclusive Villa in Carmen, Cebu, Philippines!

What's up, my dearest Hiversss! I've missed you. 🥳 It's been a while since I've written a blog, but here I am again, about to share another amazing experience I had at Tree Rings Beach Resort in Carmen, Cebu, Philippines! I can't remember enough when was the last time I wrote a travel blog, and it's just so refreshing to be back at it again! (It’s because I nap every weekend rather than travel, though haha!)  Tree Rings Beach Resort is an exclusive villa in the peaceful town of Carmen, a municipality of Cebu, Philippines, and about an hour's drive from Cebu City or Cebu Province. We actually got here for our branch's summer outing and as a celebration for our two colleagues' retirement. The goal was really to look for a hidden gem just here in Cebu where we could have a quiet getaway, away from the hustle and bustle, exclusively. So, I'd say this was actually the perfect spot, especially for a group of 30 pax or more!   ## How to get there? The resort is not located near the national road. You have to ride or drive a short distance to get to Tree Rings. The resort is in Bantigue, Luyang, Carmen, Cebu. You can just use your Google Maps or Waze to get there. Just remember that once you see the Sea and Slopes Beach Resort signboard, go left, and when you find the gray-colored gate, specifically the second one, then that's it!   My room was on the second story, and look at the view when you're upstairs. I took this when the sun had already come up and was shining gracefully.    The beach resort was absolutely amazing! Imagine being able to enjoy the scenic views and pool with no unfamiliar faces around. You can have a group getaway or even just a solo retreat if you want to unwind. Aside from the pool, you have access to the beach. You just have to open the gate at the back door, and within a few steps, you're already in the water.  Honestly, the beach is not that typical white sand that you might expect. Well, it's not also surprising for every Cebuanos, because white sand beaches are definitely rare when you're in Cebu City. The fantastic white sand beaches and crystal-clear blue waters can be found in northern or southern Cebu provinces. Here in this beach, you'd find more fishermen than tourists. What's exactly amazing is that during low tide, you can have fun, like catching crabs or spotting small fish in the shallow waters.    ### The View at Night    At night, you can have a sit outside the room and feel the cold breeze of the air. In fact, the only sound you can hear is the sound of the waves. I sat here for an hour after I finished swimming at the pool. I only took a swim at night because I didn't have the mood to do so during the day. The breeze of the air was actually cold outside, but the room was the coldest. I honestly got out of our room and went on the balcony instead because it was so cold inside. 🥶 ### The View in the Early Morning   You can wait for the sun to rise. I bet it'll be a more amazing start to the day, but as for me, this is all I got the next day because I already woke up at 6 or 7 AM. ### Amenities and Facilities The resort has a lot of rooms. There's for families, for couples, and there are also single beds in a double deck, but it was very spacious and can actually fit two persons. There's a smart TV and all the things you need. You don't have to worry, especially if you'd stay there overnight, because there's high internet access and a basic guest kit for your hygiene. The bathroom is clean. Though they don't have a bathtub, they have a shower. "Tell me you're a Filipino without telling me you're a Filipino." Of course, we had karaoke, you just have to add 1,000 pesos. They also have a studio-type kitchen where you could cook. As for us, they cooked breakfast the next day.    ### The Food   I believe some of our food was ordered from the resort, but some were brought from outside. My colleagues also just bought drinks and all for us. ---  To give you some information about our booking, it was for exclusive use with 27 pax included for free. We checked in at 10:00 AM on the morning of March 15 and checked out at almost 12:00 NN the next day. As for the parking lot, I remember we had 6 cars and 3 motorcycles accommodated. All in all, we were 25 adults and 6 kids. We were more than 30 pax, but some didn’t actually stay overnight at the resort. I guess our total payment for the overnight stay was 25k or more, given that it was an exclusive booking and there were many of us. But the money spent was taken from the branch incentives, so I haven't spent a single peso for this. Thus, I'd say that overall, it's amazing! The place, the food, the people, the experience! Tree Rings Beach Resort is worth the visit. If you're looking for one, you must consider this place.
