**Ingredients**
Breadfruit or Ukwu
Onions
Pepper
Red oil
Crayfish
Maggi
Dried fish
Salt
**Procedure**
I washed the breadfruit using a clean bowl. I have to be careful while washing because most times it contains so much sand.

I wash up to like three times careful enough at the bottom so I can avoid as much sand as I can.
Next, using a clean pot, I add a generous amount of salt under the pot, before putting in my already washed breadfruit. Add some water before I begin to parboil.
It takes almost an hour for this to be done, so for me what I do to save time. I cook at night to a minimum extent then complete the cooking the next day.
While my breadfruit is cooking, I will wash and pound my pepper and cray fish then slice my onions ready for use. From the image below you can see the the breadfruit is already cooking. I will allow it to cook though it takes some time.

When my breadfruit is soft enough, I add my dried fish making sure to remove every unwanted particle in the fish. Allow it to cook for sometime, then I add my already sliced onions, pepper, and a generous amount of red oil and allow it to cook for a while then I taste for salt and maggi.

The taste is already awesome so I bring it down and dish it out. I love this meal because of how nutritious it is. It is quite expensive though but worth the value of your money.
Umh.. yummy! I just took a spoon and it's so delicious and sumptuous. Most times you can actually add some things to supplement.

Sometimes, you can go for rice or corn or beans but I prefer it alone without adding extra. Would you like to try it out? I would love to read your thoughts in the comment section below.
