Why I ditch my car for public transportation? No doubt having a personal car gives the freedom to move at any time of the day whether at night or during the day. I enjoy being behind the wheels no doubt but not purchasing the gas.

It also gives the freedom of not being stuck under the rain especially when it comes during the unusual hours of the day, let's not also forget the comfort and the independence it gives too. When it comes to running errands and not moving far away from home then I will choose to drive to my destination at will but when it comes to far distance then my preference of choosing a public transport or other modes of transportation comes into play.
Come to think of it, driving for hours is not something I enjoy at will, it doesn't give me that freedom to explore. Not minding the comfort of traveling with your own personal car but as someone who loves to get every experience on camera I don't think I would have the freedom to do what I enjoy doing while traveling.
While most will find traveling boring, for me it's fun no matter the long hours it takes. I just can't fall asleep and just can't get enough of it. I want to capture every moment, every beautiful place I pass through and I want to create these memories, unforgettable moments.
From my enthusiasm, I love to travel both by road and on air. Though traveling by air is much faster and saves lots of time and stress being on the road for long hours. When it comes to about a 10 hour journey being on the road, I rather choose to travel by air than on the road but for five hours or seven then I would be glad to travel by road.
I could remember how a friend told me about having motion sickness while travelling which is why she hates traveling. For her, travelling is just a nightmare, not something she enjoys and wishes for it to come to an end. For her she would try to boycott the stress of being on the road if she has other means to travel but when by road is the only option she has no choice but to bear her motion sickness till it comes to end.
I just can't relate with her because I'm the opposite of that. Come to think of it, traveling by public transport saves you the freedom of being behind the wheels for long hours and saves a generous amount of gas. It might be cheaper traveling by public transport but what about the freedom that comes with sitting and doing the things you love while still traveling. Most will listen to their favorite songs from their favorite artist, most will choose to get some work done as a freelancer and while most will enjoy the moment of looking outside the window and watching the world pass by.
