 ___ Hello Hiver's here at Vibes Web3 Music Competition, today I would like to share my entry covered song entitled "Amazing Grace" (My Chain Are Gone) under the Theme Legendary Movies Soundtracks. Chris Tomlin and Pastor Louie Giglio collaborate to rework the classic hymn “Amazing Grace” originally written by John Newton in the 18th century. The song is the closer to Tomlin’s fourth studio album See the Morning in 2006 and has become one of the most recognized and covered renditions of Newton’s hymn. Not long after the song’s release, “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)” became the title song for Michael Apted’s 2007 film Amazing Grace written by Steven Knight. The film recounts the story of the abolitionist movement of the British Empire led by William Wilberforce in the early 1800s. The song was used in the trailer, the end credits, and scenes from the movie are used in the music video featuring Tomlin singing while playing the piano.
