@Splinterlands has just dropped an exciting update with Conclave Arcana, introducing the new Bloodline Dominion mechanics! To celebrate, the team offers a FREE season of Wild Format battles, waiving the usual 2000 DEC Wild Pass cost. This is the perfect opportunity for new and veteran players to dive into the Wild Format and experience the thrill of using older cards in competitive play.

The Wild Format in Splinterlands allows players to use all cards ever released, including older editions that are restricted in the Modern Format.

This means:

More deck-building options – Combine cards from different eras for unique strategies.

Rediscover old favorites – Bring back powerful retired cards into battle.



Wild League is infested with automated bots that are strong enough to easily beat real players. Because of this, there's little enjoyment in playing the Wild format right now. While a free season of Wild format sounds great in theory, the actual gameplay experience is far from fun.


Playing in this league currently feels like a waste of time, especially when you compare the earnings to those in the Modern format. The difference in rewards is understandable, though, since it's mostly bots that are farming the reward pool in Wild.


When I was actively playing, I appreciated seeing more Chaos Legion cards in battles. I only came across Alpha, Beta, and Untamed cards about 2–3 times, which made it easier to climb the ranks up to Diamond II. However, progressing from Diamond I to Champion is definitely a tough grind.

Redemption: When this Monster dies, it does 1 damage to all enemy monsters. The damage dealt is Melee and follows normal rules of melee attacks.
