A few days ago, I accidentally found photos in my phone that I took on a spring day this year at Lake Ada in Belgrade. And now when I look at them, they are just as strange to me as they were then, especially the water through which you can see the tall grass, like some other world under the perfectly calm, harmonious surface.
There were not many people because it was a cloudy day, so it gave us an extra peace that you can rarely feel here because it is usually very crowded, especially in the evening hours in the clubs and cafes along the coast as well as in summer days when the beaches are full of people. Then they call this place the sea of Belgrade.
It was especially nice when the swans came to us.
My kids were especially delighted.
And my eyes liked the transition between the coast with pebbles and the water with thick green grass. For some reason I found it inspiring.
We were sitting for a while on the lifeguard's bench and watched the lake from above.
The entire lake is surrounded by greenery and it is nice to walk along the paths for a long time, in various directions.
And when you get tired, there is also a little train that goes around the lake.
But I'm more into walking because that way I can slowly enjoy all the colors around me.
Thank you for reading.
