Hello everyone, it's time for a #wednesdaywalk! 😊 Recently, I took my son to a birthday party in the city center, so I used the opportunity to take a little walk.
Honestly, chances like these are becoming rare due to all our commitments and daily busyness, but ever since the weather is nice and sunny, we've been enjoying them more often.
The birthday of my son’s friend was in one of the streets in Belgrade’s main pedestrian zone.
The heart of Belgrade reveals the rhythm of a city that breathes between the past and the present. The chatter of passersby, the smell of coffee, and the sounds of street musicians create a unique atmosphere.
There are always some street performances that draw small crowds of curious onlookers.
You can also spot street art on nearly every corner, murals with interesting and thought-provoking messages.
As we walked, we reached the building where the birthday was held. It’s a building from the last century, with classic salon-style apartments you can only find in these older parts of the city.
I always feel something special when I step into one of these buildings.
There is a lively spirit of old Belgrade in the air. And it’s heartwarming to see all the decorative details that someone took the time to create, making the shared spaces more beautiful for everyone.
The interior is calm and classy, telling stories of a time when life was slower, but more stylish.
That’s where my Wednesday Walk came to an end.
Until next Wednesday, thank you for reading, and enjoy your day!
