Hello to everyone who likes to walk on Wednesdays! And hello and thanks to the #wednesdaywalk community and @tattodjay for inspiring us to do it. If you read my previous posts, you know that I was in Croatia on vacation. I spent 7 days there.
When we were returning home on the last day, we stopped in Lovran, the place where my husband's sister was with her husband, and we took the opportunity to see each other and also to see this charming town.
One of the best moments there was walking along the coast.
Walking along the seaside promenade in Lovran feels like stepping into another beautiful world. The Adriatic Sea here is crystal clear.
The air was so good and fresh and the sun was shining brightly and we were breathing with full lungs, happy that we are here.
I found myself pausing often, sometimes to take photos, other times just to breathe and enjoy the views.
I like looking into the distance so this was a great opportunity to do so. We war walking along the sea and looked for a cafe to have a drink and talk a little. On the way, I wanted to go down to the sea and swim several times, but I postponed it for later because now I liked the walk more.
When we were returning to the parking lot, we passed through a few more streets and saw beautiful landscaped courtyards, beautiful old buildings in Western European style.
After this walk, we went to the most beautiful part of Lovran, the old town. About that wonderful experience I will write in the next post.
Thank you for reading.
