Having fun for a while on the banks of the Orinoco River [Esp-Eng]

Muy cerca de la casa de mi suegra y también cerca de donde mi esposo y yo vivíamos, hay una entrada al río orinoco, queda a solo 5 minutos caminando y literalmente solo hay que seguir derecho por una calle rodeada de casas hasta el final, un lugar que honestamente no visitamos mucho y la verdad no sé porque, lo único que se me ocurre es porque debido al fuerte sol, las rocas siempre están muy calientes y el agua tibia. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión que mis padres fueron de visita a Amazonas decidimos ir un rato, para que conocieran un poco más (yo tampoco conocía en este momento ese lugar), principalmente porque la verdad estábamos un poco cortos de dinero y hacia este río no debíamos gastar absolutamente nada. Por lo cerca, nos fuimos por la tarde, esperando que mientras estuviéramos allá bajara un poco el sol, pero eso no pasó nunca. >! [English version] >Very close to my mother-in-law's house and also close to where my husband and I lived, there is an entrance to the Orinoco River, just a 5-minute walk away. You literally just have to go straight down a street surrounded by houses until you reach the end. It's a place we honestly don't visit much, and I don't really know why. The only thing I can think of is that because of the strong sun, the rocks are always very hot and the water is warm. > >However, on this occasion when my parents came to visit Amazonas, we decided to go for a while so they could get to know the place a little better (I didn't know it either at the time), mainly because we were a little short on money and we didn't have to spend anything at all to go to this river. Because it was so close, we went in the afternoon, hoping that while we were there the sun would go down a little, but that never happened.   Ademas, algo que me hizo muy feliz fue que mi mamá se bañó en el río tranquilamente, esto me alegro porque mi mamá es de piel muy sensible y por lo general no tolera demasiado el agua fría de un río o incluso a veces la playa, pero lo que hace diferentes a este río, el orinoco es que su temperatura nunca es fría, al menos desde mi experiencia, ni de día, ni de noche está frío, sino que siempre esta a la temperatura perfecta para lanzarte de un chapuzon sin que te de frio. No llevamos sino el pequeño bolso para guardar nuestras pertenencias a la hora de bañarnos, pero como era tan cerca ni siquiera llevamos toalla y simplemente nos devolvimos tal y como habíamos salido del río. Debo decir abiertamente que amo esta clase de planes, los que son sencillos sino que puedes irte confiado de que nadie tendrá que gastar más de la cuenta, o esos planes en los que eres libre de disfrutar de un lugar que no ha sido comercializado de ningún modo. >! [English version] >Also, something that made me very happy was that my mom bathed in the river peacefully. which made me happy because my mom has very sensitive skin and usually can't tolerate the cold water of a river or even the beach sometimes, but what makes this river, the Orinoco, different is that its temperature is never cold, at least in my experience, neither during the day nor at night. Instead, it is always at the perfect temperature to take a dip without feeling cold. > >We only took a small bag to store our belongings while we bathed, but since it was so close, we didn't even take towels and simply returned as we had left the river. I must say openly that I love this kind of plan, the ones that are simple but where you can be confident that no one will have to spend more than necessary, or those plans where you are free to enjoy a place that has not been commercialized in any way.    Por lo general en las mañanas algunas personas de la zona se acercan a esta parte del río a pescar, pero ya por la hora en la que fuimos no había ningún pescador por ahí, así que el lugar estaba solo para nosotros. El reflejo del sol en el agua, las piedras enormes que siempre, siempre me causan demasiada impresión y la vista al horizonte fueron cosas que hicieron especial esta salida rápida, pero divertida. Ahí estuvimos un rato y cuando ya se hacía tarde (aunque el sol seguía sin bajar), nos devolvimos a la casa, sin ningún tipo de cargas, ni preocupación, porque estaba súper cerca. Aunque ya no vivo en amazonas y solo voy de vez en cuando de visita, siempre amaré haber aprendido ahí que por todas partes hay algo sencillo que puedes disfrutar, algo natural que te hará sentir vivo, algo que siempre te causará impresión fuera de ninguna pantalla, sino frente a ti. >! [English version] >Usually in the mornings, some locals come to this part of the river to fish, but by the time we got there, there were no fishermen around, so we had the place all to ourselves. The reflection of the sun on the water, the huge rocks that always impress me so much, and the view of the horizon were things that made this quick but fun outing special. > >We stayed there for a while, and when it was getting late (although the sun was still high in the sky), we headed back home, without any burdens or worries, because it was so close. Although I no longer live in Amazonas and only visit from time to time, I will always love having learned there that everywhere there is something simple you can enjoy, something natural that will make you feel alive, something that will always impress you outside of any screen, but right in front of you.   Cada vez que voy, Incluso cuando visito los mismos lugares, por las fechas o simplemente el clima, todo se ve distinto y especial como si fuera nuevo ante mis ojos, y siento que eso hace muy especial Amazonas y por lo que me guata tanto volver allá cada vez que se puede. Porque más allá de salidas al cine, al centro comercial o parque acuáticos, disfrutar de algo natural en su totalidad, y ver la belleza que esto tiene sin que las manos humanas lo toquen, eso hace que se convierta en una experiencia increíble. >! [English version] >Every time I go, even when I visit the same places, because of the time of year or simply the weather, everything looks different and special, as if it were new to my eyes, and I feel that this is what makes the Amazon so special and why I love going back there whenever I can. Because beyond going to the movies, the mall, or water parks, enjoying something natural in its entirety and seeing the beauty it has without human hands touching it makes it an incredible experience.
