Today is our first day of class. It's finally starting. A start for being a third-year student. Annyeonghaseyo, my dear hivers. It's me once again, @jenajean. Today I want to show you what happened to my day, to my first day of school.
Early in the morning, one of our co-boarders came back to her boarding house from Manila. And she gave us strawberry jam and a keychain from Baguio. I'm the one who received it. Both of us were so happy. We said "thank you" to Ate. She's so generous. One of the kindest boarders.
After that, I took a bath and cooked noodles for my breakfast afterwards. Yes, noodles. It's still yummy, though. One of the easiest to cook. When I'm done eating, I'm ironing my clothes—my white t-shirt and my pants. And I wore it after. When I arrived at school, there were so many students that were still outside. It seems like they're freshmen, first-year students. It was so awkward to take a step, but still I managed to walk until I reached our room. We even took a photo for the four of us: Vergie, Mabel, Angie, and me.

A few minutes later, someone said that we needed to be there at the gym to start the program. It was the opening salvo. As we went to the gym, there were signs or banners of each section that were written in a small rectangular carton that was putted in a bamboo stick. We fall in line, then we start with an opening prayer followed by the national anthem, then members of the Glee Club sang the Bagong Pilipinas hymn, and afterwards we sang the Asian hymn and the CTU hymn.

Then some of the CTU performing arts danced. The students went wild and shouted.

There are a lot of happenings in the gym; I can't tell it to you in detail. After saying where each room was, we proceeded to it. Our room was so hot; there's only one electric fan, and there's no ceiling. So the heat really comes into our body. Due to only one electric fan, we search for something that can give us air. Then we find this cut folder. So we used it as our fan with the use of our hands.
Then exactly at 11:00 a.m., Ma'am Gladys came. One of our teachers. We just introduced ourselves: our names, where we live, and our expectations. When all of our classmates were done, we just took a rest. Then, around 11 a.m., we went home. When I arrived in my boarding house, our landlady gave us a jackfruit. One of my favorites. I'm so happy; we're only three boarders that were separated in her house, and she gives us each one. A very generous.
Then Rufilyn came into our boarding house; she's one of my classmates. After a few minutes, we decided to go back to school. She has a motorcycle, so I was just riding on it. Ma'am Gladys came inside our room again, as she was our teacher from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. We do groupings and do infographics. Each group has different topics; our group 1 was CTU Vision. We did it and printed it in a computer lab.
There's an event again in the gym; that's why we went there. It was a parlor games. However, instead of being in the gym, we stayed in the computer lab since it has air conditioning. It felt so good.
Then, around 4 p.m., I went home. I was so tired. Hoping that the school will do something for those rooms that have no ceiling that became a reason for having a high temperature. I'm quite happy yet so tired because of the high temperature.
