Hello Artbuddies, artlovers and to all the hiveans out there. Hope everyone is fine So yah, I want to share the story behind of this portrait of mine and the Process as well. It's not that tragic just a very very light mini heartbreaks only hahaha.

This portrait is the only commission I accepted this month of November, since i still on the process of moving on in my pass commission heartbreak that made my interest in drawing lessen.

The client ask me to do this as this will be a gift to a girl she/he like (naguluhan ako sa he/she coz both applicable hahah) Client want me not to rush this, that's why i spent a week for the process. I did it slowly for better outcome. When a got finished, i send a photo of the outcome via messenger. The client ask me to revise the cheek part. I was thankful coz that's the only thing she want me to revise.

I sent her again a photo of the revised portrait, afterwards, i was shocked the client want more revisions on other parts, my temperature got high that time hahah (naiisip kona talaga sabihin in a nice way na magpaphotocopy nalang siya hahah) untill the client realized that she was so demanding. At the end she said "sige okay na yan" in english "okay it can be fine" tama ba? hahah

As of now this portrait still on my hand, not yet picked up, not yet paid, don't know when... that's why I'm trying to move on nalang on possible instances wether it'll be get or not. But I'm still happy coz I finished an portrait and learn something. This will be added on my art collection incase. Heheyey that's it.

lez proceed to the process how i did it, and some tips:

I always used grid method (half inch) for commissions for accuracy. Artmats used: -vellum board 200gsm -2b pencil- for the sketch (you can use any light graded ordinary pencil for the skecth) -8b pencil, charcoal pencil- for the details -pencil eraser, kneaded eraser- for highlights and to erase wrong moves haha -flat brush, round brush, make up brush- i used to smoothen the details (you can use cotton or tissue)

IMG_20211101_104115.jpg Skecth- I spent 3 to 4hrs for this

IMG_20211101_113330.jpg Detailing- I always start on the eyes.

I'll let the pictures narrate the process ๐Ÿ™‚ IMG_20211102_120655.jpg

For final touch, I am using Bosny clear spray paint for dust protection and to preserve the portrait and prevent in fading easily.
