A lonely 2 months

^{↑I took food outside, I will not keep doing that↑}

I had grown accustomed to both my fur babies coming and going as they pleased, sleeping in my bed, getting up and going without waking me etc.

Then a stranger cat discovered it could sneak in at night or when I was away and eat all the food that was out, fighting with his majesty Prince Tommy outside.

I am assuming it got the best of my Prince outside and sprayed around inside my house, because all of a sudden Tommy would almost not come into my house, creeping and looking as if there were things about to jump out at Him

He would hear the rats behind/under my kitchen counters and sit staring at the drawer under my stove I pulled that bottom drawer out so he could go under, and I went out to check mail.

When I came back in I heard bumping and squeaking, followed the sound to my bathroom.

Two nights ago there was a repeat performance, only it was 2 am and in my bedroom, which required me to get up, catch the rat, break its neck and toss it out the back door. Felix went with and I didn't see him again until the next day

I cleared much of the stuff from around that back door and brought the food into my bedroom to dissuade the stray, which was only partially successful I am so accustomed to my babies playing and chasing, and THAT being what kept me up at night I miss that so much Felix still comes to my bed almost every night ^{(↓Here he is looking all sexy↓)} Two nights ago, when Felix caught the mouse, before I got up to stop the noise, His Majesty Crown Prince Tommy came in (it was 2 am, the lights were on) and actually almost hopped over my footboard onto the bed, but not quite)

I cannot, will not keep leaving my back door open (mesh screen closed, but they and any other varmint can come thru that easily) now that it's beginning to get colder. I can only hope that whatever has cause His Majesty to eschew my love inside has disappated enough and He will return to love on me, rubbing all around my legs in the morning as I sit here at my PC until I get up and stir the food in their bowl around.
