H.O.M #269 ~ Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper (cover)

Hive open mic week 269 it's been a while I submitted an entry here but I saw the film and just felt I should threw my spin on the song time after time by Cindy Lopper it's one of the old time songs I love a lot and when you just listen to it you just get into it and feel every part of it I love the song and I decided to do a cover of it for the Hive open mic community.  Time after time by Cyndi Lauper is like a classic song ya know? It's about someone who just wants to be with the person they love no matter what they'll wait for them time after time it's got this catchy beat and Cyndi's voice is just iconic it's a song that makes you feel all the feels. While I was recording this one, I thought I would do it once but I was wrong because I made a mistake the first time and I wanted to just ignore it and post it that way but my son was like "mommy, you made a mistake" and I was like "oh, if my son could notice that mistake, then it will be very noticeable" so I decided to redo the song again. I tried redoing it over and over again, and I kept making mistakes in several areas sometimes the instrumental was too loud, and some other times my mic was too low I just kept singing and singing, adjusting my light and doing all these things until I just felt like okay, this was it let me just go with this. So, it's a song I love, and I'm just glad that I'm able to participate in Hive open mic contest this week. The instrumental I used was played from YouTube.
