It's Okay || NightBirde (cover) Vibes Web3 Music #34

Hey everyone, this is Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 34. I chose to sing the song 'It's Okay' by Nightbirde. For a while, I felt like I was repeating old songs, so I decided to challenge myself to learn a new one. It was fun, but initially, it felt overwhelming because it had been a long time since I scored a new song. However, I took on the challenge and tasked my brain to learn the song, adding a little bit of my own twist to it.  I'm glad to finally share this with you all. The original song starts with the phrase 'I moved to California in the summer time.' While scoring the song, I thought to myself, 'I've never been to California, and I have no experience of what it's like.' I didn't want to just sing the song for the sake of singing it; I wanted to connect with it. That's why I changed the first phrase to 'I chased a fleeting dream a little while ago.' The context I was trying to convey was about chasing an aspiration that didn't go as planned. I know this song is relatable to many people, and it's comforting to know that sometimes we may feel lost, but it's okay to feel that way. There's always hope that we won't remain in that phase forever. Life is full of phases, and sometimes we just have to pass through the ones where we feel lost. But with the knowledge that we'll overcome it, we can find comfort in that. That's how I felt, and I could connect with this song.
