Hello 👋🏼 Hiverians 🥹
It was a good Sunday. The weather was fine, and the sun rose beautifully—just like it always does. Since it was Sunday, we were preparing for church. First of all, I was so thankful to God because sunrise has always been one of my favorite moments in life
While preparing breakfast, I took a few photos of the surroundings, especially the beautiful glow of the sunrise. Isn’t it beautiful? Do you love sunrise moments too?
Later that day, after church, I had an agreement with two kids who attended the service that I would visit their house. They told me we’d have a little “coconut milking” session.
So while waiting for the motorcycle to arrive, there I was—standing with my tumbler, excited for another memorable afternoon.
When the moment finally came, everything we needed was ready. I stopped by the supermarket first to buy some food for our snacks with the kids. Soon enough, I arrived in Bunhayag.
The kids had already prepared the buko juice, made from freshly scraped coconut, and were mixing in the condensed milk I bought from the store. We took a few selfies together while the other kids were busy enjoying their snacks.
After a while of chatting and laughing, I realized we were almost late for sunset watching! So I told them to get ready, and off we went to the mountain. Here’s the first capture of that beautiful sunset.
Seeing their smiles again at the same place where we once had our fellowship—a year ago, when their grandma, Nay Tining, was still with us—filled my heart with so much emotion. How quickly time flies. We took a group photo to remember the moment.
On our way to the well-known mountain in their area, the kids were having so much fun walking and exploring. Some even reached the higher part of the mountain! This place is such a perfect spot to unwind—or even camp for a night under the stars.
The mountain in Bunhayag holds a special place in my heart. I’m super thankful to God for leading me to this wonderful place, full of beauty and peace. It will forever have a special space in my heart.
As the others climbed ahead, only I, Hainel, and Mikay were left walking at the bottom.
The other kids were too excited to reach the top, but even from below, we enjoyed every moment. Watching them laugh, eat, and simply enjoy being kids made me so happy.
Behind their laughter, my heart overflowed with gratitude. This was something I had prayed for two years ago—and here I was, living it. Truly, God is faithful.
And just look at this stunning sunset I captured! 🌇 I’m always grateful to God for blessing me with this place where I can talk to Him and appreciate His creation. I remember one time, after our class with the kids, I was left alone here during sunset. I cried quietly, thinking about how good God has been to me.

They're having good times with good food. Such a wonderful place to be with 🙌🏼
This place—this Barangay Bunhayag—will always be close to my heart. Many precious memories were created here, and I thank God for every single moments we shared
