Hello everyone, my anime fanatic friends, this time I want to bring you a new review with my options, I want to talk to you about one of the first anime series I saw, and I really still remember it very well, it is quite distinctive, that is why I wanted to bring you this review and talk to you a little about: Rewrite... if you are looking for something that is more than the typical high school comedy, something that will make your brain explode a little, then you could watch this, I went in half blind, I only knew that it was based on a visual novel, have you seen that there are anime that kind of... start and that's it? Well, Rewrite is like it grabs you and throws you headfirst from the first episode, I'm not going to lie, it had me there scratching my head a little, I couldn't quite understand, it's almost like a mini movie, and it drops you right into this world, it introduces you to the main character, Kotaro, and immediately, you get that vibe of... mystery? Yeah, mystery and a ton of questions... it seems like the creators sat down and said, "Let's see, how do we make people desperate for answers from minute ZERO?" And they succeeded!
That little thing of wanting to know what the hell is really going on, what's up with all the weird happenings, that doesn't let you go, it just keeps growing and growing as the story progresses... essentially, it starts off feeling kind of like a slice-of-life with its supernatural touch. We meet Kotaro Tennouji, our main character, who, by the way, has some pretty cool abilities... he can "rewrite" parts of himself, increasing his strength or speed - pretty cool, the guy ends up joining his school's Occult Research Club, which sounds like the start of some kind of crazy, even creepy adventures, but nothing too complicated, all very normal, for a while it is. The club members are a super varied combo of girls, each with their own spark, with their own well-defined personality. There's Kotori, her childhood friend; Chihaya, the beastly transfer student; Lucia, the class representative with a certain temperament; Shizuru, the quieter, younger girl who's always eating something; and Akane, the club president, who's completely enigmatic. The character designs, by the way, are brilliant; they all look amazing and are very distinct, which really helps you connect with them quickly.
>Hola a todos amigos fanáticos del anime, en esta ocasión, les quiero traer una nueva reseña con mis opciones, les quiero hablar de una de las primeras series anime que ví, y de verdad aún la recuerdo muy bien, es bastante distintiva, por eso quise traerles está reseña y hablarles un poco de: Rewrite.. si andan buscando algo que sea más que la típica comedia de instituto, algo que les haga explotar un poquito el cerebro, entonces podrían ver esto, yo le entré medio a ciegas, solo sabía que estaba basado en una novela visual, han visto que hay animes que como que… arrancan y ya? Bueno, Rewrite es como que te agarra y te lanza de cabeza desde el primer episodio, no les voy a mentir, me tuvo ahí rascándome un poco la cabeza, no terminaba de entender, es casi como una mini película, y te suelta de una en este mundo, te presenta al prota, Kotaro, e inmediatamente, te pega esa vibra de… ¿misterio? Sí, misterio y un montón de preguntas.. parece que los creadores se sentaron y dijeron: "A ver, ¿cómo hacemos para que la gente esté desesperada por respuestas desde el minuto CERO?". ¡Y lo lograron!
Esa cosita de querer saber qué carajos está pasando en serio, qué onda con todos los sucesos raros, eso no te suelta, simplemente sigue creciendo y creciendo a medida que la historia avanza.. en esencia, arranca sintiéndose medio como un slice-of-life con su toque sobrenatural, conocemos a Kotaro Tennouji, nuestro prota, quien, por cierto, tiene unas habilidades que están bien, bien curiosas.. puede "reescribir" partes de sí mismo, aumentando su fuerza o velocidad – bastante cool, el tipo termina uniéndose al Club de Investigación de lo Oculto de su instituto, que suena como el inicio de unas aventuras medio locas y hasta escalofriantes, pero nada demasiado complicado, todo muy normal, por un rato lo es, los miembros del club son un combo de chicas súper variado, cada una con su propia chispa, con su personalidad bien marcada. Está Kotori, su amiga de la infancia; Chihaya, la estudiante transferida que es una bestia; Lucia, la delegada de clase que tiene su carácter; Shizuru, la más calladita, más joven, que siempre anda comiendo algo; y Akane, la presidenta del club, que es toda enigmática.. los diseños de personajes, por cierto, son geniales, todos se ven súper bien y son bien distintos, lo que de verdad te ayuda a conectar con ellos rápidamente. ---  [Imagen Source](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/66101/images/backdrops) --- So, there you have them, investigating these supposed paranormal phenomena in their city, Kazamatsuri, which is a pretty interesting place, literally, covered in vegetation, which gives it a kind of ancient and mystical vibe... at first, you think: "Well, fun club activities, maybe a monster of the week"... it has comedy, and although some of the stuff is kind of cliché, the kind you've already seen, the truth is that it's quite nice, but then... then things start to get good. What seems like a story of half-crazy and disconnected mysteries, little by little is revealed to be something much, MUCH bigger... that's where Rewrite starts to change tone, it's not just a fun and calm story; No, sir! This anime plays with feelings... it stirs up your emotions, makes you form theories and then, with all the madness in the world, it knocks them down... you can't trust what you see at first sight, I remember watching certain scenes, thinking that I already had it crystal clear, and suddenly BAM! They threw in a twist out of nowhere that left my jaw on the floor... the plot isn't linear at all, it jumps, it meanders, it throws you some curve balls that I can't even tell you about, but then, as you get into it, you start to see how all these threads that seemed loose start to connect. It’s like putting together a giant, super complicated jigsaw puzzle, and when a piece finally fits, it’s incredibly satisfying. You get this feeling that everything, every little detail, every character they throw in, happens for a reason. No filler here, mind you, it’s not just about the plot twists, this anime genuinely made me think seriously. It delves into some pretty deep themes about life itself – what it means to exist, the concept of fate and the choices we make about how we face the life we’re given. There are these moments, these lines of dialogue, or even just an image, that hit you with these philosophical nuggets. It’s not like I’m trying to preach at you, and it’s not going to turn you into a philosopher overnight, but it definitely plants seeds in you… it makes you reflect on the “what ifs” and the bigger picture. I found myself pausing an episode more than once just to digest what had happened or what a character had blurted out. >Así que, ahí los tienes, investigando estos supuestos fenómenos paranormales en su ciudad, Kazamatsuri, que es un lugar bien interesante, literal, forrada en vegetación, lo que le da una onda medio antigua y mística.. al principio, uno piensa: "Bueno, actividades divertidas del club, capaz algún monstruito de la semana".. comedia tiene, y aunque alguna cosita es medio cliché, de esas que ya viste, la verdad es que es bastante simpática, pero entonces… entonces la cosa se empieza a poner buena. Lo que parece una historia de misterios medio locos y desconectados, de a poquito se va destapando como algo mucho, pero MUCHO más grande.. ahí es donde Rewrite empieza a cambiar de tono, no es solo una historia divertida y tranqui; ¡no, señor!, este anime juega con los sentimientos.. te revuelve las emociones, te hace armar teorías y después, con toda la locura del mundo, te las tira abajo.. no puedes confiar de lo que ves a primera vista, me acuerdo de estar viendo ciertas escenas, pensando que ya la tenía clarísima, y de repente ¡ZAS! Te metían un giro de la nada que me dejaba con la mandíbula por el piso.. la trama no es lineal para nada, salta, serpentea, te lanza unas bolas curvas que ni te cuento, pero después, a medida que te vas metiendo, empiezas a ver cómo todos estos hilos que parecían sueltos se empiezan a conectar.
Es como armar un rompecabezas gigante y re complicado, y cuando una pieza por fin encaja, es una satisfacción tremenda, te da esta sensación de que todo, cada pequeño detalle, cada personaje que meten, pasa por una razón.. nada de relleno, ojo, que no se trata solo de los giros de la trama, este anime genuinamente me hizo PENSAR en serio.. se mete en unos temas bastante profundos sobre la vida misma – qué significa existir, el concepto del destino y las elecciones que tomamos sobre cómo encaramos la vida que nos toca, hay estos momentos, estas líneas de diálogo, o incluso solo una imagen, que te pegan con estas píldoras filosóficas. No es que te quiera dar un sermón, y no te va a convertir en filósofo de la noche a la mañana, pero definitivamente te planta semillitas.. te hace reflexionar sobre los "y si..." y el panorama general. Me encontré pausando un episodio más de una vez solo para digerir lo que había pasado o lo que un personaje había soltado. ---  [Image Source](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/66101/season/1/episode/4/images/backdrops) --- Be careful with this, one of the things that interested me the most was the role that nature plays, Kazamatsuri is not just a pretty background to make it look good; the leafy forests, that giant tree that is like a repeating image – everything is very loaded with symbolism... nature in Rewrite feels almost like another character, representing life, the cycles, and maybe even something deeper that we as humans can't fully understand... it's beautiful to see, the landscapes are insane, but you get the feeling that it's more than just a simple decoration; it's super connected to the central mysteries and themes of the anime. It’s like the anime is telling you, look out, nature holds secrets, pacing is an issue.. since it’s adapting a HUGE visual novel, there were times, especially in the beginning, where it felt a bit rushed, like they were trying to cram in too much.. but even then, they manage to give you time with the characters, especially the girls.. after the initial introductions and club antics, the story really gets into their backstories, their individual struggles. You get to know their inner workings, their secrets and what keeps them going.. this is where the plot tugs at your heartstrings, you start to warm to these characters, and when they’re in danger or going through a tough time, you feel it too.. there were times where I was screaming at the screen or a tear was almost shed.. it’s a crazy genre mash-up. It have the action sequences, which can get really interesting, then you have the high school comedy, a good dose of romance (Kotaro's interactions with the girls lean towards the harem side, but it's handled more sensibly than one would expect), and then these moments of really dense drama and wondering about life things... it's a tricky balance, but most of the time, Rewrite nails it, it can take you from a super chill scene to something hair-raising in no time. >Ojo con esto, una de las cosas que más me interesó fue el papel que juega la naturaleza, Kazamatsuri no es solo un fondito lindo para que se vea bien; los bosques frondosos, el árbol gigante ese que es como una imagen que se repite – todo está bien cargado de simbolismo.. la naturaleza en Rewrite se siente casi como un personaje más, representando la vida, los ciclos, y tal vez hasta algo más profundo que uno como humano ni llega a entender del todo.. es una belleza verlo, los paisajes son una locura, pero te queda esa sensación de que es más que simple decorado; está recontra conectado con los misterios centrales y los temas del anime.
Es como si el anime te estuviera diciendo, ojo, que la naturaleza guarda secretos, el ritmo es un tema.. como está adaptando una novela visual que es ENORME, hubo momentos, sobre todo al principio, donde se sintió un poco apurado, como si estuvieran tratando de meter muchas cosas.. pero incluso así, se la arreglan dándote tiempo con los personajes, especialmente con las chicas.. después de las presentaciones iniciales y las jodas del club, la historia se mete de lleno en sus historias, sus problemas individuales. Vas conociendo sus cosas internas, sus secretos y lo que las hace seguir adelante.. acá es donde la trama te llega al corazón, te empiezas a encariñar con estos personajes, y cuando están en peligro o pasando un mal momento, también lo sentís.. hubo momentos que le estaba gritando a la pantalla o se me estaba por salir una lágrima.. es una ensalada de géneros bien loca.
Tienes sus secuencias de acción, que se pueden poner bien interesantes, después tienes la comedia de instituto, una buena dosis de romance (las interacciones de Kotaro con las chicas tiran para el lado del harem, pero está manejado con más cabeza de lo que uno esperaría), y después estos momentos de drama bien denso y de preguntarte cosas de la vida.. es un equilibrio complicado, pero la mayor parte del tiempo, Rewrite le pega, te puede pasar de una escena súper tranqui a algo que te pone los pelos de punta en un toque. ---  [Image Source](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/66101/season/1/episode/8/images/backdrops) --- The music is a gem, everyone! It has everything from calming and semi-nostalgic melodies to really loud tracks that really raise your tension at key moments... seriously, it adds a lot to the atmosphere and how the scenes hit you... I was paying a lot of attention to the music, and that's always a good sign, now, I'll be honest, since it's adapting a story that is HUGE, maybe some who are already familiar with the visual novel will feel that certain parts are a bit cramped, a bit condensed... the end of the first season... well, ugh!, it leaves you wanting to know how it all ends, it's quite complicated... the first season is a JOURNEY, it leaves you with a thousand things on your mind, a ton of questions that it answers and, at the same time, it plants a ton of new ones. That feeling of intrigue, that desperate need to watch the next episode, was so strong... I remember finishing an episode late at night and thinking: "Go on, one more and that's it", even though I knew I had to get up early the next day... it's that kind of series, you know what I mean? My expectations changed a lot while I was watching it, I think at first I was expecting something a little lighter, maybe more focused on the comedy and the craziness of the supernatural club... but it hit me hard with its depth, its emotional complexity and the tremendous ambition it has to tell the story. There were moments that left me open-mouthed because of how creative they were and the emotional punch they gave you... so, if I had to give it a score... I think I'd give it an **8/10**, don't worry... It's not perfect, eh; the rhythm can sometimes be a little uneven due to the adaptation, and that first feeling of "half-repeated comedy" may put some off... but the moments where it breaks it are great, the mystery, the character development (especially the girls), all that philosophical vibe in the background and the way it turns all your ideas upside down make it an experience... it's an anime that asks you to pay attention, but it rewards you with something really interesting... and well, that's all for today, we'll see you in the next reviews, take care! Tiene de todo, desde melodías tranquilas y medio nostálgicas hasta temas con toda la polenta que te suben la tensión en los momentos clave.. en serio que le suma un montón al ambiente y a cómo te pegan las escenas.. estuve prestándole mucha atención a la música, y eso siempre es buena señal, ahora, les voy a ser franco, como está adaptando una historia que es GIGANTE, capaz algunos que ya se conocen la novela visual sientan que ciertas partes están medio apretadas, medio condensadas.. el final de la primera temporada… bueno, ¡uff!, te deja con unas ganas locas de saber cómo sigue todo, es bastante complicado.. la primera temporada es un VIAJE, te deja con mil cosas en la cabeza, un montón de preguntas que te responde y, al mismo tiempo, te planta un montón de nuevas.
Esa sensación de intriga, esa necesidad desesperada de ver el siguiente episodio, fue fuertísima.. me acuerdo de terminar un capítulo tarde en la noche y pensar: "Dale, uno más y ya", aunque supiera que al otro día tenía que madrugar.. es ese tipo de serie, ¿me entienden? Mis expectativas cambiaron un montón mientras la veía, creo que al principio esperaba algo un poco más liviano, quizás más enfocado en la comedia y las locuras del club sobrenatural.. pero me dio una cachetada con su profundidad, su complejidad emocional y la tremenda ambición que tiene para contar la historia. Hubo momentos que me dejaron con la boca abierta por lo creativos y el golpe emocional que te daban.. así que, si tuviera que ponerle un puntaje… yo creo que le pongo un **8/10**, tranqui..
No es perfecta, eh; el ritmo a veces puede ser un poco desparejo por esto de la adaptación, y esa primera sensación de "comedia medio repetida" capaz que a algunos los tira para atrás.. pero los momentos donde la rompe, son geniales, el misterio, el desarrollo de personajes (especialmente de las chicas), toda esa onda filosófica de fondo y la forma en que te da vuelta todas tus ideas la convierten en una experiencia.. es un anime que te pide que le pongas atención, pero te lo recompensa con algo bien interesante.. y bueno, esto es todo por hoy, nos veremos en las próximas reseñas, cuidense mucho! It has everything from calming and semi-nostalgic melodies to really loud tracks that really raise your tension at key moments... seriously, it adds a lot to the atmosphere and how the scenes hit you... I was paying a lot of attention to the music, and that's always a good sign, now, I'll be honest, since it's adapting a story that is HUGE, maybe some who are already familiar with the visual novel will feel that certain parts are a bit cramped, a bit condensed... the end of the first season... well, ugh!, it leaves you wanting to know how it all ends, it's quite complicated... the first season is a JOURNEY, it leaves you with a thousand things on your mind, a ton of questions that it answers and, at the same time, it plants a ton of new ones. That feeling of intrigue, that desperate need to watch the next episode, was so strong... I remember finishing an episode late at night and thinking: "Go on, one more and that's it", even though I knew I had to get up early the next day... it's that kind of series, you know what I mean? My expectations changed a lot while I was watching it, I think at first I was expecting something a little lighter, maybe more focused on the comedy and the craziness of the supernatural club... but it hit me hard with its depth, its emotional complexity and the tremendous ambition it has to tell the story. There were moments that left me open-mouthed because of how creative they were and the emotional punch they gave you... so, if I had to give it a score... I think I'd give it an **8/10**, don't worry... It's not perfect, eh; the rhythm can sometimes be a little uneven due to the adaptation, and that first feeling of "half-repeated comedy" may put some off... but the moments where it breaks it are great, the mystery, the character development (especially the girls), all that philosophical vibe in the background and the way it turns all your ideas upside down make it an experience... it's an anime that asks you to pay attention, but it rewards you with something really interesting... and well, that's all for today, we'll see you in the next reviews, take care! Tiene de todo, desde melodías tranquilas y medio nostálgicas hasta temas con toda la polenta que te suben la tensión en los momentos clave.. en serio que le suma un montón al ambiente y a cómo te pegan las escenas.. estuve prestándole mucha atención a la música, y eso siempre es buena señal, ahora, les voy a ser franco, como está adaptando una historia que es GIGANTE, capaz algunos que ya se conocen la novela visual sientan que ciertas partes están medio apretadas, medio condensadas.. el final de la primera temporada… bueno, ¡uff!, te deja con unas ganas locas de saber cómo sigue todo, es bastante complicado.. la primera temporada es un VIAJE, te deja con mil cosas en la cabeza, un montón de preguntas que te responde y, al mismo tiempo, te planta un montón de nuevas.
Esa sensación de intriga, esa necesidad desesperada de ver el siguiente episodio, fue fuertísima.. me acuerdo de terminar un capítulo tarde en la noche y pensar: "Dale, uno más y ya", aunque supiera que al otro día tenía que madrugar.. es ese tipo de serie, ¿me entienden? Mis expectativas cambiaron un montón mientras la veía, creo que al principio esperaba algo un poco más liviano, quizás más enfocado en la comedia y las locuras del club sobrenatural.. pero me dio una cachetada con su profundidad, su complejidad emocional y la tremenda ambición que tiene para contar la historia. Hubo momentos que me dejaron con la boca abierta por lo creativos y el golpe emocional que te daban.. así que, si tuviera que ponerle un puntaje… yo creo que le pongo un **8/10**, tranqui..
No es perfecta, eh; el ritmo a veces puede ser un poco desparejo por esto de la adaptación, y esa primera sensación de "comedia medio repetida" capaz que a algunos los tira para atrás.. pero los momentos donde la rompe, son geniales, el misterio, el desarrollo de personajes (especialmente de las chicas), toda esa onda filosófica de fondo y la forma en que te da vuelta todas tus ideas la convierten en una experiencia.. es un anime que te pide que le pongas atención, pero te lo recompensa con algo bien interesante.. y bueno, esto es todo por hoy, nos veremos en las próximas reseñas, cuidense mucho!
