Hello everyone, Otaku friends, great community of The Anime Realm, I hope you are all doing super well, this time I want to share a new review with my opinions, I will talk to you about a very interesting and at the same time complicated anime... today it's time to tell you about: Tengoku Daimakyo, or Heavenly Delusion for those who call it that, I entered without knowing much, I saw some images that looked brutal and I thought: "Ok, another post-apocalyptic, let's see how it goes" .. but NO, NO, NO! How it grabbed me! I was really hooked, confused and desperate for more, so imagine this: the world went to hell... typical, right?
But the way it all went to hell is so beautifully captured... we're talking buildings completely devoured by plants and moss, nature literally reclaiming its own, it gave me really strong vibes from The Last of Us, visually, you see these small pockets of civilization, towns where people are surviving as best they can with whatever remnants of technology they can find from the old world, and then, outside those walls... pure danger, dad. And it's not just the environment; the whole atmosphere is so charged with that sense of desolation, but also with a very strange beauty, you know what I mean? And the studio behind it? Production I.G.! You know, these people are experts at creating these dark, complex seinen worlds, with stories that captivate you, here, they really showed off. The animation quality is, for the most part, simply spectacular, far above the average seasonal anime... there are moments that make you drop your jaw, and even when it's "average", it's still very good... they know how to make a shattered world feel... alive, if I'm not sure what I mean.
>Hola a todos, amigos Otakus, gran comunidad de The Anime Realm, espero que estén super bien, en esta ocasión les quiero compartir una nueva reseña con mis opiniones, les hablaré de un anime muy interesante, y a la vez complicado.. hoy toca contarles de: Tengoku Daimakyo, o Heavenly Delusion para los que le dicen así, yo entré sin saber mucho, vi unas imágenes que se veían brutales y pensé: "Ok, otro postapocalíptico, a ver qué tal".. pero ¡NO, NO, NO!, ¡cómo me agarró! realmente estuve enganchadísimo, confundido y desesperado por más, así que, imagínense esto: el mundo se fue al carajo.. típico, ¿no?
Pero la forma en que se fue al carajo está tan hermosamente plasmada.. hablamos de edificios completamente devorados por plantas y musgo, la naturaleza literal reclamando lo suyo, de una me dio unas vibras fuertísimas a The Last of Us, en lo visual, ves estos pequeños focos de civilización, pueblitos donde la gente sobrevive como puede con los restos de tecnología del mundo viejo que encuentran, y luego, afuera de esas murallas... puro peligro, papá. Y no es solo el entorno; toda la atmósfera está cargadísima con esa sensación de desolación, pero también con una belleza bien extraña, ¿me entienden? ¿Y el estudio detrás? ¡Production I.G.! Ya ustedes saben, esta gente es experta en crear estos mundos seinen oscuros, complejos, con historias que te cautivan, aquí, de verdad que se lucieron. La calidad de la animación es, en su mayoría, simplemente espectacular, muy por encima del anime promedio de temporada.. hay momentos que son para quedarse con la boca abierta, e incluso cuando está "normalita", sigue estando muy buena.. saben cómo hacer que un mundo hecho pedazos se sienta… vivo, no sé si me explico. ---  [Imagen Source](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/208891/images/backdrops) --- Well, the story itself starts off with a vibe that, again, might sound a little familiar, but it has its own very unique twists… it’s like someone took the core idea of The Last of Us – you know, the semi-cynical, yet super-capable protector who has to escort a special little person through a messed up world – and mixed it with the kind of hair-raising mystery of The Promised Neverland, where you have these kids living in this isolated institution, which looks all nice and perfect, but you just know it’s hiding some pretty dark secrets… you’re basically following two stories at once, and that’s part of what makes it so, so intriguing, crazy! On one hand you have Maru and Kiruko, Maru is a kid, say around 15 years old, and Kiruko is a slightly older girl, around 20, who was hired to be their bodyguard.. apparently a woman who was dying asked Kiruko to take Maru to a place called "Paradise" .. the classic mysterious destination, Maru himself is on his own mission to find someone who looks just like him.. mystery to the touch! And Kiruko? She has her own ghosts, searching for people from her past.. their journey through this broken world is one half of the series, they are constantly moving, searching for resources and trying to fish out any little bit of information about this "Paradise". Then, to contrast, you have Tokyo... she lives inside one of these so-called Paradises, a super-tech facility or school where they raise children in isolation, totally protected from the horrors of the outside world. They have classes, they interact, but there are all these weird things that feel like they're going on underneath. Scientists are watching them, studying them... Tokyo starts receiving these half-coded messages that make her wonder what the hell is really beyond her walls, which is brilliant, and also sometimes it drives you crazy, but in a good way, because we as viewers see bits and pieces of both sides. We start to connect the dots that the characters don't even notice... it only makes the mystery grow more because you're like, "Whoa! Does that connect to this other thing?!" It's the kind of story you have to pay attention to, you blink and miss a crucial detail... I've heard from people who are further along that it can get quite confusing, almost like a jigsaw puzzle with half the pieces missing. >Bueno, la historia en sí arranca con una onda que, de nuevo, quizás les suene un poco familiar, pero tiene sus propios giros bien únicos.. es como si alguien hubiera agarrado la idea principal de The Last of Us –ya saben, el protector medio cínico, pero súper capaz que tiene que escoltar a una personita especial por un mundo hecho mierda– y lo hubiera mezclado con el misterio ese que te pone los pelos de punta de The Promised Neverland, donde tienes a estos niños viviendo en una institución aislada, que se ve toda bonita y perfecta, pero que tú sabes que esconde unos secretos bien oscuros.. básicamente, seguimos dos historias al mismo tiempo, y eso es parte de lo que lo hace tan, pero tan intrigante, ¡una locura! Por un lado, tienes a Maru y Kiruko, Maru es un chavo, ponle que de unos 15 años, y Kiruko es una chica un poquito mayor, como de 20, que contrataron para que sea su guardaespaldas.. al parecer, una señora que se estaba muriendo le encargó a Kiruko llevar a Maru a un lugar llamado "Paraíso".. el clásico destino misterioso, el mismo Maru está en su propia misión de encontrar a alguien que es igualito a él.. misterio al toque!
Y Kiruko? Ella tiene sus propios fantasmas, buscando gente de su pasado.. el viaje de ellos por este mundo hecho pedazos es una mitad de la serie, están todo el tiempo moviéndose, buscando recursos y tratando de pescar cualquier datito sobre este "Paraíso". Luego, para contrastar, tienes a Tokio.. ella vive dentro de uno de estos supuestos Paraísos, una instalación o escuela súper tecnológica donde crían a los niños aislados, totalmente protegidos de los horrores del mundo de afuera, tienen clases, interactúan, pero hay todas estas cosas raras que se sienten por debajo.
Los científicos los están observando, estudiándolos..Tokio empieza a recibir unos mensajes medio en código que la hacen preguntarse qué carajo hay realmente más allá de sus muros, lo que es brillante, y también a veces te saca de quicio pero de la buena manera, es que nosotros como espectadores vemos pedacitos de los dos lados. Empezamos a atar cabos que los personajes ni se enteran.. eso solo hace que el misterio crezca más porque te quedas pensando: "¡Epa! ¿¡Eso se conecta con esto otro!?". Es el tipo de historia a la que tienes que estar atento, sí o sí, parpadeas y te pierdes un detalle crucial.. he escuchado por ahí de gente que va más adelantada que dice que se puede poner bien confuso, casi como un rompecabezas al que le faltan la mitad de las piezas. ---  [Image Source]() --- And be careful, the dangers found outside are no joke, it's not just that you find desperate people fighting over the little there is, which in itself is already scary... there are also some monstrous creatures, which are sometimes called "Human Hunters" or "Devourers", which are a real nightmare, the designs are very creepy, they make your hair stand on end, and they are a real threat, our protagonists are not exactly invincible, eh? they have to be really smart, really clever to stay alive... There can be some pretty graphic violence, and it's not just there to shock you; it has its weight in the story, you know? It makes it very clear how brutal it is where they live... and he also delves into topics like teenage sexuality, which you probably wouldn't have guessed! But think about it: you have these kids growing up in this shitty world, without laws, dealing with all the hormones going on at full blast, and on top of that, you know what? Monsters that want to kill you and society in a mess... from the looks of it, the series handles these moments with a maturity that surprises you, sometimes they even throw in a little bit of dark humor, but they always make it feel important to how the characters grow and to the plot... it's not like they throw it in just to piss you off or shock you; it's part of their chaotic and super human experience. And that's another of the most key things: how it explores what it means to be human, in the midst of all the chaos and despair, you see these relationships between people that are incredibly nuanced, complex... you see the ugliest parts, the rage people get when they can't take it anymore... but you also see some beautiful moments of connection, friendship, and even just plain good vibes. The chemistry between Kiruko and Maru is spectacular, it's great! She's like the older sister who has your back, but she also has her weaknesses. He's younger and somewhat naive to the ways of the world, but he has this strange power and determination that you wouldn't believe. They fight, they support each other, they share those little joys, and that makes them feel so real. You really grow fond of them and root for them... they act the way you'd expect kids their age to act in those crazy situations, with all their twists and turns and flaws. >Y ojo, que los peligros que se encuentran afuera no son ningún chiste, no es solo que te encuentres con gente desesperada peleándose por lo poquito que hay, que ya de por sí te cagas de miedo.. también hay unas criaturas monstruosas, que a veces les dicen "Cazadores de Humanos" o "Devoradores", que son una verdadera pesadilla, los diseños son bien creepy, te ponen los pelos de punta, y son una amenaza de verdad, nuestros protas no es que sean invencibles, ¿eh?; tienen que ser bien pilas, bien astutos para seguir vivos.. Kiruko tiene una pistola de energía que está buenísima, pero Maru tiene esta… esta cosa, el tipo puede tocar a estos bichos y, ¡zas!, como que les revienta el núcleo por dentro.. le dicen el "Toke Maru", que suena medio tonto, pero cuando lo usa, ¡mamita querida!, es bien heavy.. pero lo que de verdad eleva a Tengoku Daimakyo, por lo que he visto hasta ahora, es que no le tiembla la mano para meterse en temas bien turbios, no se anda con rodeos con lo jodido que es su mundo.
Puede haber violencia bien gráfica, y no es solo para impresionar y ya; tiene su peso en la historia, ¿entienden? Te deja bien claro lo brutal que es donde viven.. y también se mete con temas como la sexualidad adolescente, ¡que capaz ni te lo imaginabas! Pero pónganse a pensar: tienes a unos chicos creciendo en este mundo hecho mierda, sin leyes, lidiando con todas las hormonas a full, y encima, ¿saben qué?, monstruos que te quieren matar y la sociedad hecha un desastre.. por lo que se ve, la serie maneja estos momentos con una madurez que te sorprende, a veces hasta le meten un poquito de humor negro, pero siempre haciendo que se sienta importante para cómo crecen los personajes y para la trama.. no es que lo metan solo para joder o para shockear; es parte de su experiencia caótica y súper humana.
Y esa es otra de las cosas más claves: cómo explora lo que es ser humano, en medio de todo el desmadre y la desesperación, ves estas relaciones entre personas que tienen un montón de matices, complejas.. ves lo más feo, la rabia de la gente cuando ya no da más.. pero también ves unos momentos hermosísimos de conexión, de amistad, e incluso de pura buena onda. La química entre Kiruko y Maru es espectacular, ¡es genial! Ella es como la hermana mayor que te cuida la espalda, pero también tiene sus puntos débiles, él es más chico y medio inocentón con las cosas del mundo, pero tiene este poder rarísimo y una determinación que no te la crees. Se pelean, se apoyan el uno al otro, comparten esas pequeñas alegrías y eso hace que se sientan súper reales. Oh my god, the opening is an absolute gem, a BIG SONG! The song sticks to you like gum, the visuals are crazy psychedelic and full of little details and clues that will surely make more sense as the story progresses. The music throughout the entire series is equally captivating and fits the vibe perfectly, it's one of those openings that I won't skip, and that's saying something! Honestly, when I first heard about this anime, I was curious but didn't expect to be THIS into it already. I was expecting a good, solid sci-fi adventure, but this is shaping up to be so, so much more. It's a layered, twisty-dread box of surprises, a character study, and a surprisingly deep look at what it means to be human when the world is going to hell. There are moments that truly leave you speechless, and then there are moments of warmth and humor that you wouldn't expect, the shifts in tone are handled well. It's the kind of series that leaves you thinking, you're constantly forming theories, trying to connect the dots between the two stories. "What's up with the kids at the facility? Do they have something to do with the monsters? What is Paradise, really?" You're left with that feeling of "I have no clue what's really going on, but I'm enjoying this ride, even if it gets really confusing at times." If I had to give it a score right now, I'd give it an **8.5/10**. The animation is top-notch, the mystery draws you in, the characters are well-developed, and it's not afraid to touch on adult themes in a way that makes sense... the only reason I don't give it a higher score is because it gets way too confusing at times, and you don't really understand everything that's going on... and well, that's it for today's review, see you in the next ones, take care! La canción se te pega como chicle, las imágenes son una locura psicodélica y están llenas de detallitos y pistas que seguro van a tener más sentido conforme avance la historia.. la música en toda la serie es igual de atrapante y le queda perfecto a la onda que tiene, es de esos openings que no me salto ni a palos, ¡y eso ya es mucho decir! Sinceramente, cuando escuché hablar de este anime por primera vez, me dio curiosidad pero no esperaba estar TAN metido ya.. yo esperaba una aventura de ciencia ficción buena, sólida, pero esto se perfila para ser mucho, muchísimo más, es una caja de sorpresas que no para de sumar capas, un estudio de personajes y una mirada sorprendentemente profunda a lo que significa ser humano cuando el mundo se va al diablo. Hay momentos que de verdad te dejan helado, y luego hay momentos de una calidez y un humor que no te esperas, los cambios de tono los manejan bien.
Es el tipo de serie que te deja pensando, estás todo el tiempo armando teorías, tratando de conectar los puntos entre las dos historias. "¿Qué onda con los chicos de la instalación? ¿Tendrán algo que ver con los monstruos? ¿Qué es el Paraíso, en serio?".. te quedas con esa sensación de "No tengo ni la más pálida idea de qué está pasando realmente, pero estoy disfrutando este viaje, aunque a veces sea muy confuso". Si tuviera que ponerle un puntaje ahora mismo, que le doy un **8.5/10**. La animación es de primera, el misterio te atrapa, los personajes están bien construidos y no le tiene miedo a tocar temas adultos de una forma que tiene sentido.. la única razón por la que no le doy una nota más alta es porque a veces se vuelve demasiado confuso, y no terminas de entender todo lo que está pasando.. y bueno, hasta aquí la reseña de hoy, nos veremos en las próximas, cuidense mucho! Pero pónganse a pensar: tienes a unos chicos creciendo en este mundo hecho mierda, sin leyes, lidiando con todas las hormonas a full, y encima, ¿saben qué?, monstruos que te quieren matar y la sociedad hecha un desastre.. por lo que se ve, la serie maneja estos momentos con una madurez que te sorprende, a veces hasta le meten un poquito de humor negro, pero siempre haciendo que se sienta importante para cómo crecen los personajes y para la trama.. no es que lo metan solo para joder o para shockear; es parte de su experiencia caótica y súper humana.
Y esa es otra de las cosas más claves: cómo explora lo que es ser humano, en medio de todo el desmadre y la desesperación, ves estas relaciones entre personas que tienen un montón de matices, complejas.. ves lo más feo, la rabia de la gente cuando ya no da más.. pero también ves unos momentos hermosísimos de conexión, de amistad, e incluso de pura buena onda. La química entre Kiruko y Maru es espectacular, ¡es genial! Ella es como la hermana mayor que te cuida la espalda, pero también tiene sus puntos débiles, él es más chico y medio inocentón con las cosas del mundo, pero tiene este poder rarísimo y una determinación que no te la crees. Se pelean, se apoyan el uno al otro, comparten esas pequeñas alegrías y eso hace que se sientan súper reales. Oh my god, the opening is an absolute gem, a BIG SONG! The song sticks to you like gum, the visuals are crazy psychedelic and full of little details and clues that will surely make more sense as the story progresses. The music throughout the entire series is equally captivating and fits the vibe perfectly, it's one of those openings that I won't skip, and that's saying something! Honestly, when I first heard about this anime, I was curious but didn't expect to be THIS into it already. I was expecting a good, solid sci-fi adventure, but this is shaping up to be so, so much more. It's a layered, twisty-dread box of surprises, a character study, and a surprisingly deep look at what it means to be human when the world is going to hell. There are moments that truly leave you speechless, and then there are moments of warmth and humor that you wouldn't expect, the shifts in tone are handled well. It's the kind of series that leaves you thinking, you're constantly forming theories, trying to connect the dots between the two stories. "What's up with the kids at the facility? Do they have something to do with the monsters? What is Paradise, really?" You're left with that feeling of "I have no clue what's really going on, but I'm enjoying this ride, even if it gets really confusing at times." If I had to give it a score right now, I'd give it an **8.5/10**. The animation is top-notch, the mystery draws you in, the characters are well-developed, and it's not afraid to touch on adult themes in a way that makes sense... the only reason I don't give it a higher score is because it gets way too confusing at times, and you don't really understand everything that's going on... and well, that's it for today's review, see you in the next ones, take care! Bye! >¡Y tengo que hablar del opening! ¡Ay, Dios mío, el opening es una absoluta joya, un TEMAZO! La canción se te pega como chicle, las imágenes son una locura psicodélica y están llenas de detallitos y pistas que seguro van a tener más sentido conforme avance la historia.. la música en toda la serie es igual de atrapante y le queda perfecto a la onda que tiene, es de esos openings que no me salto ni a palos, ¡y eso ya es mucho decir! Sinceramente, cuando escuché hablar de este anime por primera vez, me dio curiosidad pero no esperaba estar TAN metido ya.. yo esperaba una aventura de ciencia ficción buena, sólida, pero esto se perfila para ser mucho, muchísimo más, es una caja de sorpresas que no para de sumar capas, un estudio de personajes y una mirada sorprendentemente profunda a lo que significa ser humano cuando el mundo se va al diablo. Hay momentos que de verdad te dejan helado, y luego hay momentos de una calidez y un humor que no te esperas, los cambios de tono los manejan bien.
Es el tipo de serie que te deja pensando, estás todo el tiempo armando teorías, tratando de conectar los puntos entre las dos historias. "¿Qué onda con los chicos de la instalación? ¿Tendrán algo que ver con los monstruos? ¿Qué es el Paraíso, en serio?".. te quedas con esa sensación de "No tengo ni la más pálida idea de qué está pasando realmente, pero estoy disfrutando este viaje, aunque a veces sea muy confuso". Si tuviera que ponerle un puntaje ahora mismo, que le doy un **8.5/10**. La animación es de primera, el misterio te atrapa, los personajes están bien construidos y no le tiene miedo a tocar temas adultos de una forma que tiene sentido.. la única razón por la que no le doy una nota más alta es porque a veces se vuelve demasiado confuso, y no terminas de entender todo lo que está pasando.. y bueno, hasta aquí la reseña de hoy, nos veremos en las próximas, cuidense mucho!
