Hola a toda la comunidad de Full Deportes, siempre es bueno regresar con lo más nuevo del deporte a nivel mundial. En esta ocasión les brindo lo hecho por nuestros deportistas en la arena internacional.
Este jueves a pesar de la mala noticia de que no tendremos Serie Nacional hasta el viernes con dobles juegos, me puse a indagar sobre lo hecho por los deportistas cubanos alrededor del mundo.

En el campeonato panamericano de la categoría Sub-15, el equipo cubano alcanzó su clasificación al Mundial de la categoría. La víspera, los nuestros vencieron por 13-8 a la selección de Aruba y clasificaron de forma directa.
El segundo lugar del grupo se disputará entre República Dominicana y Puerto Rico que con balance de 3-2 se jugaban el último pasaje para un comodín. Un resultado muy positivo para nuestro béisbol, poder volver a ver a Cuba en un Mundial Sub-15, tras ausentarnos en la última justa.

El camino no fue nada fácil, los dos reveses iniciales antes boricuas y quisqueyanos parecían obstáculos para nuestros peloteros. Sin embargo tras el triunfo contra Aruba, no volverían a perder los nuestros, fabricandole 10 carreras o más consecutivamente a Dominicana, Puerto Rico y nuevamente a Aruba.
Nuevamente los peloteros de nuestro país recibieron una segunda oportunidad dentro de un torneo y se repusieron a las adversidades, logrando el objetivo trazado.

Entre otras buenas noticias, nos llegan desde Liverpool, en el Reino Unido. Ahí se está realizando el Campeonato Mundial de Boxeo, en donde por nuestro país quedan 3 representantes. Los campeones olímpicos Julio César La Cruz y Erislandy Álvarez ya aseguraron medalla mundial al estar en semifinales de dicho mundial.
El otro miembro de la escuadra cubana Alejandro Claro, peleaba en la tarde de este viernes en los cuartos de final, y de vencer sería el tercer medallista de nuestra delegación.
La Cruz, capitán de nuestro equipo de boxeo, venció por votación dividida (4-1) al local Damar Thomas, y se las verá en semifinales con el kazajo Aibek Olarbay, que tiene en su palmarés los títulos de Asia en 2022 y 2024, además del título olímpico de la juventud en 2018.

Por otra parte, el campeón olímpico y subcampeón del orbe Erislandy Álvarez ganó fácilmente por 5-0 al iraní Ali Habibinezhad, y se enfrentará en semis frente al bronceado panamericano en 2023 Yuri Falcao Dos Reis. Por último el joven Alejandro Claro cruzará guantes con el turco Samet Gumus, y se vencer será medallista.
Considero que nuestros deportistas si tienen condiciones de sobra para triunfar en la arena internacional a pesar de las dificultades que existen internamente en nuestro país. Talento hay, pero no logramos explotar sus potencialidades. Aún así seguiremos apoyando el accionar de nuestros deportistas en cualquier lugar en el que se encuentren

Great news for the Cuban sports movement
Hello to the entire Full Deportes community, it’s always good to return with the latest in sports from around the world. This time, I want to share what our athletes have accomplished on the international stage. This Thursday, despite the unfortunate news that we won’t have the National Series until Friday with doubleheaders, I took some time to investigate what Cuban athletes have been doing around the globe.
In the Pan American Championship for the Under-15 category, the Cuban team secured their qualification for the World Cup in this category. The day before, our team defeated Aruba 13-8 and qualified directly. The second place in the group will be contested between the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, who, with a record of 3-2, were vying for the last wildcard spot. This is a very positive result for our baseball, as it allows us to see Cuba back in a U-15 World Cup after missing out on the last tournament.
The path was not easy; the two initial setbacks against Puerto Rico and the Dominicans seemed like obstacles for our players. However, after the victory against Aruba, they did not lose again, scoring 10 runs or more consecutively against the Dominicans, Puerto Rico, and again Aruba. Once again, our players received a second chance within a tournament and overcame adversities, achieving their set goal.
