Los Azucareros de Villa Clara quitaron el invicto a los Gallos en su patio, en triunfo por 2-1. Después de cuatro años ausente Carlos Alberto Santiesteban logra ganar. Última victoria de Santiesteban el 10 de diciembre del 2020. El triunfo de su equipo Holguín fue respaldado por Michel Cabrera primero en lograr 2 juegos salvados. Los Cachorros vencieron a los Alazanes de Granma por 4-2, en choque donde Lázaro Cedeño volvió a pegar jonrón.
