Hola a toda la comunidad de Full Deportes, siempre es bueno regresar con lo más actualizado del deporte cubano y más de nuestro equipo de béisbol. Los Vegueros de Pinar del Río disputarán su segunda subserie particular cuando visiten el parque Guillermon Moncada de la ciudad héroe, Santiago de Cuba. Ambos conjuntos llegan en momentos diferentes, con los santiagueros siendo lideres absolutos y los pinareños con balance negativo.
En cinco partidos, los indomitos anotaron más de 60 carreras a un pitcheo que recibió cuatro KOs de manera consecutiva. Es cierto que el equipo de La Isla no es medidor, y que como visitante son de los equipos más débiles de la pelota cubana. Liderados por Yoelkis Guibert, poseen un lineup que mete miedo, desde el primero hasta el noveno bate. El punto más bajo de los indomitos es el pitcheo, el cual se ha comportado a gran altura, sobre todo desde el regreso de Carlos Font. Igualmente sus ases Alberto Bicet y Danny Betancourt siguen haciendo la tarea de llevar adelante los partidos con toda la maña que los caracteriza.
Por otra parte, el elenco de Pinar del Río fue un hueso muy difícil para los tuneros. Los Vegueros lograron vencer en solo dos desafíos, pero se les vio combativos en cada partido. El bateo de los pinareños, logró responder, fabricandole 32 carreras a los campeones nacionales, lo cual da muestras de una considerable mejoría. Lo más flojito por los nuestros fue sin dudas el pitcheo, eslabón más débil de la mayoría de los equipos en curso. La alta tasa de bases por bolas, atentan contra el desempeño de un cuerpo de lanzadores en donde priman los mas jóvenes. La inexperiencia en momentos de alta presión, conlleva a estos lanzadores que hagan acciones erróneas dentro de los juegos de béisbol.
Creo oportuno mencionar que los pinareños en relación a la serie pasada están mostrando más paciencia en el Home a la hora de batear. Mejoraron considerablemente la tasa de bases por bolas recibidas, lo que mejora muchísimo estadísticas como el OBP y el OPS. Ante la dificultad de la subserie, y la poca efectividad del pitcheo pinareño, el favorito es Santiago de Cuba, además de la localia que siempre influye.
