Hola a toda la comunidad de Full Deportes, siempre es bueno volver siempre con las notas de nuestro pasatiempo nacional. En esta ocasión me referiré al siempre competitivo equipo de Pinar del Río, que nuevamente aspira a luchar por el título nacional.
Los Vegueros disputaron este sábado una doble cartelera ante el equipo de Santiago de Cuba. Estos desafíos correspondían a miércoles y jueves, pero debido al apagón nacional ocurrido en esos dos días, se decidió posponerlos para este viernes.

Siempre he sido de la idea que Santiago de Cuba es un rival de mucho respeto y peligro, ya que poseen bateadores de mucha calidad en su lineup. Por otra parte, los pinareños que siempre tienen un cuerpo de lanzadores de mucha calidad, a día de hoy no presentan un staff de calidad, ya que sus mejores figuras se encuentran jugando en el extranjero.
En el primer desafío de este viernes, los más occidentales lograron levantar un partido que parecía perdido. Habían comenzado delante, impetuosos como hace rato no se veían. Con la pizarra 5-1, parecía que los de Vueltabajo tendrían su cuarta victoria encaminada, pero los indomitos no bajaron los brazos y lograron fabricar 5 carreras con solo 2 hits, entre ellos un triple de Francisco Martínez.
Más adelante, ya en la séptima entrada, la dirección de Santiago de Cuba cometió un error infantil. Colocaron a lanzar a un jugador que no estaba en el roster de ese juego, y al tener un jugador inapropiado, pues pierden automáticamente. Esto benefició sin dudas a los pinareños, y con la pizarra 6-5 en contra y con uno en base, nuevamente apareció Lester Benítez y de línea la despareció por el jardin izquierdo para el definitivo 7-6.

A mí en lo personal, no me gusta ganar así, pero toda victoria de la forma en que sea siempre es bienvenida. Ya a segunda hora, los santiagueros desataron todo su arsenal de bateo y no pararon hasta vencer a los pinareños por 21-4, tomando desquite de la paliza sufrida el primer día.
Tras estos resultados, los santiagueros se encuentran en zonas cimeras de la Serie, mientras los Vegueros con balance idéntico de ganados y perdidos se encuentra a medio juego del octavo puesto.
