Happy Caturday, everyone! It's been one of those special weekends where life has brought me into contact with lots of kittens along the way. I wanted to start with my dear nephew Firu-de-Miau, the orange cat in the first photo, because this photo was taken just 24 hours after his neutering, when, during my long night of caring for him, I fell asleep for a few seconds and when I opened my eyes, he was already on top of the cupboard. I was very worried, he shouldn't be doing these antics, and I had to set him straight when I took him down, but I was very happy to see the strength of his youth, which made his recovery very quick.
>¡Feliz Caturday para todos!. Ha sido uno de esos fines de semana especiales donde la vida me hace toparme con muchos gatitos en el camino. Quise comenzar por mi buen sobrino Firu-de-Miau, el gato naranja de la primera fotografía, y es que esta foto es de solo 24 horas después de su esterilización, cuando en mi larga noche cuidándolo me quedé dormido por unos segundos y al abrir los ojos ya estaba sobre la alacena. Me preocupé mucho, no debería estar haciendo estas monerías, y hubo que poner las cosas en regla cuando lo bajé, pero me alegró mucho ver la fuerza de su juventud, lo que hizo que su recuperación fuera muy rápido.
That same Caturday, but hours later and in another city, I had to run an errand at the National Theater where I sang with the choir a few weeks ago, and I ran into the famous theater cat again, the gray cat you can see above. When I came to sing, I was very focused on the concert, so I couldn't take any photos, but this time I was luckier when I met this kitty again, only he didn't give me any good shots. However, a single photograph has been enough to share his beauty, fatness, and fluffiness... >Ese mismo Caturday, pero horas más tarde y en otra ciudad tuve que hacer una diligencia en el Teatro Nacional donde canté con la coral hace pocas semanas y volví a encontrarme con el famoso gato del teatro, el gato gris que pueden ver aquí arriba. Cuando vine a cantar estaba muy enfocado en el concierto, así que no pude tomarle fotos, pero esta vez tuve más suerte al volverme a encontrar con este minino, solo que no me regaló buenas tomas. Sin embargo una sola fotografía ha sido suficiente para compartir su belleza, gordura y esponjosidad...
After leaving the theater further south, I had to head to my friend Leonardo's house. He lives near my house, but he is located further north. Even so, and although you can walk this route from Lecuna Avenue to the National Pantheon, I decided to stop at Paramo Café on University Avenue. A cold drink to refresh myself after a long day and a change of city was a necessary moment for me. While I was drinking my milkshake, I discovered this beautiful cat sitting at one of the tables near mine. Of course, he came over to me to ask for some of my snack, and I did give him a little, but this photo of him lying on the chair under the table is delightful. I fell in love with this cat, and now I have a new reason to visit Paramo in downtown Caracas. >Luego de salir del teatro que queda más hacia el sur tenía que dirigirme a la casa de mi amigo Leonardo. Vive cerca de mi casa y, sin embargo él se ubica más al norte. Aún así, y aunque se puede hacer este recorrido a pie desde la Avenida Lecuna hasta el Panteón Nacional, decidí hacer una parada en Paramo Café, en la Avenida Universidad. Una bebida fría para refrescarme de un largo día y de un cambio de ciudad era un momento necesario para mí. Mientras me tomaba mi merengada descubrí a este hermoso gato sentado en una de las mesas cercanas a la mía. Claro que se acercó a mí a pedirme de mi merienda, y de hecho le di un poco, pero esta foto donde está acostado en la silla bajo la mesa es una delicia. Me enamoré de este gato, y ahora tengo un nuevo motivo para visitar Paramo en el centro de Caracas.
When I arrived at Leonardo's house, I found this beautiful cat sitting in front. I think she belongs to a neighbor because she wasn't afraid of me, and I took the opportunity to give her lots of love. Her eyes captivated me from the start; she had such a pure gaze, something I love in many cats. When I got home, I thought about all the cats I saw that Saturday, starting with my brother's son, who had me take care of him overnight. It was a totally special Caturday. In fact, I'll say goodbye with this last photo of a cat I saw randomly at a house. I took the photo from the street, but I think it's a very funny photo. >Cuando llegué a la casa de Leonardo me encontré a esta hermosa gata sentada en el frente. Creo que es la gata de un vecino porque no me temía y aproveché de darle mucho amor. Sus ojos me enamoraron desde el inicio, tenía una mirada muy pura, algo que amo en muchos gatos. Cuando volví a mi casa pensé en la cantidad de mininos que vi ese Sábado, comenzando con el hijo de mi hermano que me tuvo cuidándolo durante la noche. Un Caturday totalmente especial, de hecho me despido de ustedes con esta última foto de un gato que vi al azar en una casa. La foto la tomé desde la calle, pero se me hace una foto muy cómica 😹
