There is a part of Hive that I love so much and that, for reasons related to life, work, and routine, I had put aside. and that is its people, the wonderful people of Hive, the people who build community and whose existence gives me faith that the platform will be fine in the long term. This energy of believing in blockchain and everything that can be achieved with it, I learned very early on from Daniel and Enmy at @rutablockchain, and then I consolidated it with people who love Hive as much as I do. Today I just wanted to mention that I finally had a little meeting with Ylich. We live in the same city, and yet it's been about three years since we first thought about meeting up to record a cover.
>Hay una parte de Hive que amo demasiado y que por motivos de la vida, el trabajo y la rutina había dejado de lado, y eso es su gente, la gente bonita de Hive, la gente que hace comunidad y que saber que existen es lo que me hace tener fe de que la plataforma estará bien a largo plazo, y esta energía de creer en la blockchain y en todo lo que se puede lograr con ella lo aprendí muy temprano con Daniel y Enmy de @rutablockchain y luego la he consolidado con personas que aman tanto a Hive como yo. Hoy solo quería mencionar que al fin tuve un pequeño encuentro con Ylich, vivimos en la misma ciudad y aún así pasaron como tres años desde la primera vez que penamos en encontrarnos para grabar un cover.
Ylich is important to me for many reasons. He is an excellent and respected musician with a long career, known by many in the music world in which I move in Caracas. Here at Hive, he is the leader of a curation project that has always been characterized as exemplary. That is La Colmena, where I have been a curator since 2021, and for the Spanish-speaking community, I think it is the best school for curators. But at the same time, I remember that together with him, my dad, and my mom, we organized that Christmas music festival that I thought at the time would be an event to repeat, but some things happened in my family and it was no longer possible. However, the friendship and respect remained. >Ylich es importante para mí por muchas razones, es un músico excelente y respetado, de gran trayectoria y conocidos por muchos en el mundo musical en el que me muevo en Caracas, y aquí en Hive es líder de un proyecto de curación que siempre se ha caracterizado por ser ejemplo, eso es La Colmena, donde he sido curador desde 2021, y para la comunidad de habla hispana me parece que es la mejor escuela para curadores; pero a la vez recuerdo que junto a él, mi papá y mi mamá, organizaos aquel Festival de música navideña que pensé en su momento que sería un evento a repetir, pero algunas cosas ocurrieron en mi familia y ya no fue posible, pero la amistad y el respeto quedaron.
Their company was so enjoyable that I didn't have much time to take pictures, other than the ones I'm sharing with you today. We focused on enjoying the friendship we've built over time and catching up, and of course, you always learn something new about Hive when you meet people who love this platform so much. I can only send you a hug and my gratitude, both publicly and privately, as I have already expressed to you. These holidays are flying by, and I still have many people to see in August, in addition to Ylich and the Delta team; People like @nahupuku and Ori, @mfbs25, @rosana, and @maitt87, and that eternal promise of pizza that I haven't fulfilled 😅 Anything is possible. I've met people who live farther away, like @zullyscott and her family, and even beautiful people outside of Venezuela, like @mipiano, @ph1102, and @fernanblog and his girlfriend.
