That day was so beautiful, my soul was truly filled with peace... It was the last day of August, but the first of the week, a Sunday. I had been on vacation; I haven't been to a concert in over a month, and I think for the first time I had a real vacation, as I was able to travel, meet new people, visit old friends, and even spend time at home. The last trip was with my family, and this was the first day to truly rest from all the vacation activities, because although I had fun, there were so many things that I still felt physically tired, but my mind and soul were in ecstasy.

Había estado en mis vacaciones, ya tengo más de un mes sin asistir a conciertos, y creo que por primera vez viví unas verdaderas vacaciones, ya que pude viajar, conocer gente nueva, visitar a viejos amigos e incluso pasar tiempo en casa. El último viaje fue con mi familia, y este fue el primer día para descansar realmente de todas las actividades vacacionales, porque aunque me divertí, fueron tantas cosas que igual me sentía cansado físicamente, pero mi mente y mi alma estaban en éxtasis.
Just look at this photograph of the sunset in downtown Caracas. The city was beautiful and calm that afternoon. Perhaps because I was coming from church and actually walking around downtown, where the cathedral is located, but that time, that afternoon, that weather, and that moment perfectly represented the peace I felt. It was impossible not to photograph the flag waving against the sunset colors, and even the imposing cathedral. I also loved appreciating the sculpture of Faith, located in the cathedral tower, above the bells. A copper sculpture that is difficult to photograph because of its height, but that day I deeply connected with its meaning. >Solo vean esta fotografía del atardecer en el centro de Caracas. La ciudad estaba hermosa y calmada esa tarde. Quizás porque venía de la iglesia y de hecho estuve recorriendo el centro, donde se encuentra la catedral, pero vaya que esa hora, esa tarde, ese clima y ese momento representaban a perfección la paz que yo sentía. Fue inevitable fotografiar a la bandera ondeando frente a los colores del atardecer, e incluso a la imponente catedral. También amé apreciar la escultura de la Fe, ubicada en la torre de la catedral, sobre las campanas. Una escultura de cobre difícil de fotografiar por su altura, pero ese día conecté mucho con su significado.
I can only feel grateful for the month that just ended. In fact, I still have this week off before returning to my routine, but I've already recharged my batteries. I'm looking forward to rehearsing, going on tour again with my choir and reconnecting with the voices and emotions of my colleagues. I'm grateful for this time, so many beaches, so many cafes and movies. It's time to return. I'm even returning to the Phone Photography Contest here, now in its 77th week. I've missed several editions, but now comes the wonders and inspiration to keep going 🙏 >No me queda más que sentir gratitud por el mes que acaba de terminar. De hecho aún me queda esta semana libre antes de regresar a la rutina, pero ya he recargado energías. Ya quiero que comiencen los ensayos, ya me quiero ir de gira nuevamente con mi agrupación coral y volver a conectar con las voces y las emociones de mis compañeros. Agradezco este tiempo, tantas playas, tantos cafés y películas. Es momento de regresar, incluso estoy volviendo aquí al Phone Photgraphy Contest, ya en su semana 77, me he perdido varias ediciones, pero ahora es que vienen maravillas e inspiración para continuar 🙏
