We're back in Venezuela! ❤️ And yes, there's no rest here. There's rehearsal and a concert this Saturday... But I confess that despite the tiredness, it's a great joy to feel the positive and happy energy of all the choir members, both the team that just arrived from Mexico and the kids who arrived from Rome. There are many stories yet to be told, and little by little, they'll come to light. We continue with the same vibe as the celebration of the recent canonization; in fact, the entire city is imbued with the spirit of Saint Carmen Rendiles and Saint José Gregorio Hernández.

Pero les confieso que a pesar del cansancio es una gran alegría sentir la energía positiva y feliz de todos los coralistas, tanto de la selección que acaba de llegar de México como de los chicos que hemos llegado de Roma. Hay muchos cuentos pendientes por ser contados y poco a poco irán saliendo a flote. Seguimos con la misma onda de la celebración de la reciente canonización, de hecho toda la ciudad está impregnada de Santa Carmen Rendiles y San José Gregorio Hernández.
It was also a perfect day to give the gifts we all brought from our respective destinations to our best friends in the choir, so I can say I have many little pieces of Mexico in my house right now. Today, Saturday, we'll have a thanksgiving Mass, and many people who shared the canonization with us in Rome will attend. It's like spreading the emotion even further and at the same time, allowing our colleagues who were in Mexico to experience a bit of the energy. The only bad thing is that they have to learn the music overnight hahaha. >También fue un día perfecto para darnos los obsequios que todos trajimos de nuestros respectivos destinos a nuestros mejores amigos dentro del coro, así que puedo decir que tengo muchos pedacitos de México en mi casa justo ahora. Hoy Sábado tendremos una misa en acción de gracias, y asistirá mucha gente de la que compartió la canonización con nosotros en Roma, es como extender más la emoción y a la vez impregnar a nuestros compañeros que estuvieron en México a vivir un poco la energía. Lo único malo es que tienen que aprenderse la música de un día para otro jajaja.
I shamelessly showed off my new Roman flannel 🤣 and practically forced my wife to wear hers; it was something I couldn't pass up from the first moment I saw the rest of them, even though everyone in Mexico was also debuting theirs. I like work days like this, where everyone is happy and satisfied, even those who aren't so friendly 🤭 Every concert we have raises the choir's good vibes, and if it's a tour within the country or abroad, even better. Now it's time to close out the year with a bang. I imagine we'll promote the Christmas album we recorded last year... Me gustan los días de trabajo como este, donde todos están felices y satisfechos, hasta los que no son tan amigables 🤭 cada concierto que tenemos sube la buena vibra de la coral, y si es una gira por el interior del país o afuera pues mucho mejor. Ahora toca cerra el año por todo lo alto, imagino que le daremos publicidad al disco navideño que grabamos el año pasado...
