Exactly a week ago I made a dream come true, and at 37 years old I had never had the opportunity to watch a sunrise on the beach... There's always a first time, and this happened on the coast of Boca de Aroa, in the Falcón State of Venezuela, and in fact it was very perfect, since this part of the geography specifically faces east, so the sun would rise in the middle of the sea, and as you can see in the following photographs, we are talking about a very extensive coastline, the horizon is practically lost from sight both to the right and to the left. There are kilometers and kilometers of little-visited coastline, since people who come to spend their vacations in this area prefer to visit the keys of Morrocoy National Park.
 
Hace una semana exactamente hice realidad un sueño, y es que a mis 37 años nunca había tenido la oportunidad de observar un amanecer en la playa... Siempre hay una primera vez, y esto ocurrió en las costas de Boca de Aroa, en el Estado Falcón de Venezuela, y de hecho fue muy perfecto, ya que esta parte de la geografía da específicamente con el oriente, así que el sol se levantaría en medio del mar, y como podrán apreciar en las siguiente fotografías, estamos hablando de una costa muy extensa, prácticamente se pierde de vista el horizonte tanto a la derecha como a la izquierda. Son kilómetros y kilómetros de costas poco visitadas, ya que las personas que vienen a pasar sus vacaciones en esta zona prefieren visitar los cayos del Parque Nacional Morrocoy.
 
The night before, I told my friends I was really looking forward to seeing the sunrise at sea, and in fact, I invited them to join me, but they were all too happy relaxing and didn't want to get up early. The only person who responded to my call was my wife @Jhoxiris; she'd already known how important it would be for me to watch the sunrise at the beach since last year, but many of the places we've been aren't the best areas to do so. This time, we took advantage of the fact that we were staying at a beachfront residence, and it was truly a perfect moment, having the beach and so many views all to ourselves. I was actually a little impatient; the sun would rise later than I thought, so I went into the sea while I waited. I think we were there about half an hour before sunrise.

La noche anterior le comenté a mis amigos que tenía muchas ganas de ver el amanecer en el mar, y de hecho les invité a presenciarlo conmigo, pero todos estaban muy felices relajándose, no querían madrugar. La única persona que acudió a mi llamado fue mi esposa @Jhoxiris; de hecho ya ella sabía lo importante que sería para mí contemplar el amanecer en la playa desde el año pasado, pero muchos de los lugares donde hemos ido no son las mejores zonas para hacerlo. En esta ocasión aprovechamos que nos quedamos en una residencia a orillas del mar y realmente fue un momento perfecto, contar con la playa y tantos paisajes solo para nosotros. De hecho estaba un poco impaciente, el sol se levantaría más tarde de lo que yo pensaba, así que me metí al mar mientras esperaba. Creo que estuvimos aproximadamente media hora antes del amanecer.
 
That morning the sun rose at exactly 6:23 a.m., but I won't deny that the clouds weren't my best friends that day. I could still see the reddish color rising behind them, but minutes later, while we were already strolling along the extensive coastline, we truly appreciated the sun above the clouds and welcomed the first rays of light. The entire experience was wonderful, and I consider the Boca de Aroa area to be the perfect place in Venezuela to appreciate the sunrise in all its splendor, even though I had that minor mishap due to the cloudiness that day. As we walked along the beach, we found many seashells and flowers, in addition to the countless palm trees that hide the hotels and residential buildings of this special place.

Esa mañana el sol salió exactamente a las 6:23 a.m. pero no les voy a negar que las nubes no fueron mis mejores amigas ese día. Aún así pude ver como se elevaba de color rojo detrás de ellas, pero minutos después, mientras que ya estábamos dando un paseo por la extensa costa fue que apreciamos realmente al sol sobre las nubes y recibimos los primeros rayos. Toda la experiencia fue maravillosa y considero que la zona de Boca de Aroa es un lugar perfecto en Venezuela para poder apreciar el amanecer en todo su esplendor, aunque haya tenido ese pequeño percance por la nubosidad de ese día 😅 Mientras caminábamos por la playa encontramos muchas conchas de mar y flores, además de la innumerables palmeras que esconden a los hoteles y edificios residenciales de este lugar especial.
 
As the hours passed, my wife and I wandered far from the residence where we were staying. We walked for hours, dipping our feet in the seashore and taking photographs and videos of our experience in Boca de Aroa. After seven in the morning, we began to see a few people walking along the shore, but there were no people going to the beach to swim, not even vendors or music. The truth is, it was a complete connection with nature, the sound of the waves, the strong breeze, and the song of the seagulls. It's a great experience. I'm from the state of Aragua, but there I only know many beaches separated by mountains. A coastline so extensive that I could walk without seeing the end is something new for us, and I was glad to have taken this short trip on foot alone with my wife.
 
A medida que fueron pasando las horas mi esposa y yo nos distanciamos mucho de la residencia donde nos estábamos alojando. Caminamos por horas, mojábamos nuestros pies en la orilla del mar y tomábamos fotografías y videos de nuestra experiencia en Boca de Aroa. Pasadas las siete de la mañana comenzamos a ver algunas personas que salían a caminar por la orilla, pero no había gente que se metiera a la playa a bañarse, ni siquiera comerciantes o música, la verdad es que fue una conexión completa con la naturaleza, el sonido de las olas, la brisa fuerte del viento y el canto de las gaviotas. Es una gran experiencia, yo soy del Estado Aragua, pero allá solo conozco muchas playas separadas por montañas, una costa tan extensa que pudiera caminar sin ver fin es algo nuevo para nosotros, y me alegró haber tenido este pequeño viaje a pie solo con mi esposa.
 
Our friends were ready to head to the keys around 10:00 a.m., but by that time my wife and I had already enjoyed the trip. We were back before nightfall, and of course, I returned to my backyard, this beautiful coast of Boca de Aroa, which had so much to offer. We were amazed by the violet sunset; we didn't see the sun on the horizon, but we did see the beautiful colors in the sky. This is definitely a place we have to return to soon, and I invite everyone to visit it for a day of peace and relaxation. Although it's not a crowded beach, it is a place of peace. Nuestros amigos estuvieron listos para ir a los cayos aproximadamente a las 10 de la mañana, pero a esa hora ya mi esposa y yo habíamos vivido y aprovechado mucho este viaje. Estuvimos de regreso antes del anochecer y por supuesto volví al patio trasero, esta hermosa costa de Boca de Aroa que tenía tanto para ofrecer. Nos sorprendió mucho que el atardecer era color violeta; no vimos el sol en el horizonte, pero sí los hermosos colores que se dibujaban en el cielo. Sin duda alguna este es un lugar donde tenemos que volver pronto y que invito a todos a conocer para pasar un día de paz y desconexión de la rutina, aunque no sea una playa concurrida, es un lugar de paz.
