Welcome to Three Tune Tuesday! A nice space in the Music community that was born from the idea of brother @ablaze, where all the participants recommend music to each other. There are many reasons why I'm writing about this British band today, but the first is that I can proudly say that my bandmates from the Simón Bolívar Orchestra, who always play with us, are playing with Coldplay right now in the UK, and their first concert on Sunday made us love Venezuela even more when we received the first images of that collaboration. I think they're the band of the moment for us, so I'm sharing my three favorite songs...

Son muchas las razones que me hacen escribir sobre esta banda británica el día de hoy, pero la primera de ellas es que puedo decir con orgullo que mis compañeros de la Orquesta Simón Bolívar que siempre toca junto a nosotros está tocando con Coldplay justo ahora en Reino Unido, y el primer concierto del Domingo nos hizo amar más a Venezuela cuando nos llegaron las primeras imágenes de esa colaboración. Creo que es la banda del momento para nosotros, así que les comparto mis tres canciones preferidas...
1. Fix You https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4V3Mo61fJM Fix You is a song that's impossible not to love, because once it enters your mind, it invites you to reflect, it transforms you, and you're never the same again. This song literally saved my life once, at a time when everything was falling apart more than 15 years ago. Its sound is fresh, with a lot of melancholy to describe the worst of environments, and then halfway through the song, you begin to hear the sound of optimism, ready to penetrate your mind and soul with a crescendo of electric guitar and drums that fill you with the perfect dose of motivation you need. I recommend you have this song on your playlist and listen to it eventually; it will improve your quality of life 😉 >Fix You es una canción que es imposible no amar, ya que una vez que entra en tu mente te invita a la reflexión, te transforma y más nunca vuelves a ser la misma persona. Esta canción literalmente me salvó la vida una vez, en un momento en que todo se derrumbaba hace más de 15 años ya. Su sonido es fresco, con mucha melancolía para describir el peor de los ambientes, y luego a media canción comienzas a oír el sonido del optimismo, listo para penetrar tu mente y alma con un crescendo entre la guitarra eléctrica y la batería que te llenan de la dosis perfecta de motivación que necesitas. Te recomiendo que tengas esta canción en tu playlist y eventualmente la oigas, mejorará tu calidad de vida 😉

Clocks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d020hcWA_Wg I need to name Clocks, and it was the first song from this band that I really liked, although they already had a few hits, but this piano melody came with force to shake everyone's adolescence in 2002, incredibly 20 years ago 😱 This music brings me a lot of nostalgia, it takes me back to an era where MTV was great, to my first approach with the keyboard to try to play the melody and to my good friends from my adolescence who sang this song at the top of their lungs with me every time the music video was on. So many years have passed and Coldplay is still so present and current, that is a very big emotion for us fans, and this song cannot be missed. >Necesito nombrar a Clocks, y es que fue la primera canción de esta banda que realmente me gustó, aunque ya tenían unos cuantos éxitos, pero esta melodía del piano llegó con fuerza a sacudir la adolescencia de todos en el año 2002, increíblemente hace 20 años ya 😱 Esta música me trae mucha nostalgia, me lleva a una era donde Mtv era genial, a mi primer acercamiento con el teclado para tratar de tocar la melodía y a mis buenos amigos de la adolescencia que cantaban esta canción a todo pulmón junto a mí cada vez que pasaban el video musical. Han pasado tantos años y Coldplay sigue tan presente y vigente, eso es una emoción muy grande para nosotros los fans, y esta canción no puede faltar.

Viva La Vida https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvgZkm1xWPE With great shame, the third recommendation I make to you today is the newest of the three, and yet it’s from 2008 😅 something that makes me confirm what they said in the recently released movie Freakier Friday, that Coldplay is a band for old people 🤣 old people who are over 30 years old hahaha, how horrible!!! I think this is the most famous and popular song of all and precisely the single most powerful representative when mixing rock and symphonic instruments, in fact our colleagues from the orchestra are standing out a lot in this piece, as you can see in that video I shared at the beginning, a moment that fills our days with joy, beyond the turbulent political situation we have here right now... >Con mucha vergüenza, la tercera recomendación que les hago hoy es la más nueva de las tres, y aún así es del año 2008 😅 algo que me hace comprobar lo que dijeron en la película Freakier Friday estrenada hace poco, que Coldplay es una banda para viejitos 🤣 viejitos que pasamos de 30 años hahaha, que horror!!! Creo que esta es la canción más famosa y popular de todas y precisamente la única representante más poderosa al mesclar rock e instrumentos sinfónicos, de hecho nuestros compañeros de la orquesta se están destacando mucho en esta pieza, como pueden ver en ese video que les compartí al inicio, un momento que llena nuestros días de alegría, más allá de la situación política revuelta que tenemos aquí justo ahora...

I'll say goodbye with The Hardest Part as a bonus, simply for being my favorite music video from this band. I still remember those afternoons of awe with my dad and mom watching this Spencer and Barbara dance. Wow, they gave us a classic for music video lovers, with something simple and powerful, but that helped make this song as memorable as many of their greatest hits 🙏 >Me despediré con The Hardest Part como ñapa, simplemente por ser mi video musical preferido de esta banda. Todavía recuerdo esas tardes de asombro junto a mi papá y mi mamá viendo esta danza de Spencer y Bárbara.
