Welcome to Three Tune Tuesday! A nice space in the Music community that was born from the idea of brother @ablaze, where all the participants recommend music to each other. There are many reasons why I'm writing about this British band today, but the first is that I can proudly say that my bandmates from the Simón Bolívar Orchestra, who always play with us, are playing with Coldplay right now in the UK, and their first concert on Sunday made us love Venezuela even more when we received the first images of that collaboration. I think they're the band of the moment for us, so I'm sharing my three favorite songs...

Estas son mis recomendaciones de la mejor música que vi en la última entrega de los Mvt VMA 2025, y lo haré por medio de los performance en vivo que realizaron mis artistas favoritos. Es música genial, imposible no disfrutarla...
1. Abracadabra / Dead Dance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHs1LCir63Q I think the best performance was Lady Gaga's, at least that's what I expected to see from her. She also debuted her new song, which served as the soundtrack for the new season of Merlina, which is super interesting. It's electropop, mixed with that terrifying, theatrical touch that made us connect with this artist more than 10 years ago. >Creo que el mejor performance fue el de Lady Gaga, al menos es lo que yo esperaba ver de ella, además de que estreno su nueva canción, la cual ha servido como soundtrack de la nueva temporada de Merlina, que está súper interesante. Es música electropop, mezclado con ese toque terrorífico y teatral que nos hizo conectar con esta artista hace más de 10 años ya.
2. Ricky Martin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4Z4F6p9wP0 I'll continue with Ricky Martin, an artist whose repertoire isn't just one song I recommend, but rather many, as demonstrated in his performance this weekend, which was a medley that began with "La Vida Loca." The Latin power was felt, and he even received a new award, the Latin Icon. It should have gone to Shakira 🤭, but we have to accept that Ricky was first in '99, later paving the way for the Colombian. I love all of his songs, especially the older ones. I also recommend "Pégate," "Shake Your Boom Boom," "Vente Pa' Ca," "Maria," and "La Copa de la Vida," the very ones he sang at the last VMAs. >Continuaré con Ricky Martin, artista del cual no se recomienda una sola canción, sino muchas de su repertorio, tal como lo dejó demostrado en su performance del fin de semana, el cual fue un medley que inicio con La Vida Loca. El poder latino se hizo sentir y hasta le dieron un nuevo premio, el Latin Icon. Debería ser para Shakira 🤭 pero hay que aceptar que Ricky fue primero en el 99, abriéndole paso luego a la colombiana. A mí me encantan todas sus canciones, especialmente las más antiguas. Les recomiendo también Pégate, Shake Your Boom Boom, Vente Pa' Ca, Maria, y La Copa de la Vida, justamente las que cantó en la pasada entrega de los VMA.
3. Steven Tyler & YUNGBLUD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWvCv43vjd4 An iconic moment was Steven Tyler and Yungblud performing a huge tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. There are a lot of things to consider: Greatest Hits, great voices, nostalgia, listening to rock on MTV, and wow, all the singers who participated were great, but that duet between the aforementioned two changed my life, and I think it changed Ariana Grande's too, since she couldn't shut her mouth while they were singing... Today's tip: listen to the entire repertoire of Ozzy and Aerosmith. >Un momento icónico fue la presentación de Steven Tyler y Yungblud haciendo un gran tributo a Ozzy Osbourne. Son muchas cosas a tomar en cuenta: Grandes Éxitos, grandes voces, nostalgia, escuchar rock en Mtv, y vaya que todos los cantantes que participaron fueron geniales, pero ese dúo entre los dos ya mencionados me cambió la vida, y creo que a Ariana Grande también, ya que no cerraba la boca mientras estos cantaban... Consejo de hoy: escuchen todo el repertorio de Ozzy y Aerosmith.

I'll close with Mariah Carey. I was so happy to receive a small shout-out and to see her revive so many old songs, as well as new ones, making it clear to younger audiences that she's a highly experienced artist and that she's not the only diva who remains relevant despite having been around for so many decades. It was great. Listen to all her music and relive hits like We Belong Together. >Cerraré con Mariah Carey, me dio mucha alegría que le hicieran un pequeño reconocimiento y que reviviera tantas canciones antiguas, además de las nuevas, dejando claro a las personas más jóvenes que es una artista de gran trayectoria y que no es la única diva que sigue vigente a pesar de contar con tantas décadas de trayectoria.
