Happy midweek, everyone! Today I have a very, very special Wednesday Walk, and I'm not just saying that because it was a Wednesday, but because I had the dream company of my dear Isabel, better known in Hive as @equipodelta. This pleasant encounter took place in the city of Maracay, which I usually describe as the hottest place I've ever been to, but which has also made it clear to me that when you're in good company, you don't even notice the heat. As you can see in these photos, there are few trees offering shade, but somehow we walked, talked, took photos, and laughed until we couldn't laugh anymore.

Hoy tengo una Caminata de los Miércoles muy, muy especial, y no solo lo digo porque precisamente fue un día Miércoles, sino porque conté con una compañía de ensueño, la querida Isabel, mejor conocida en Hive como Equipo Delta. Este grato encuentro se dio en la ciudad de Maracay, una que generalmente describo como la más calurosa que he conocido, pero que también me ha dejado claro que cuando la compañía es buena el calor ni se siente. Como pueden ver en estas fotos, son pocos los árboles que ofrecen sombra, pero de alguna manera caminamos, hablamos, nos tomamos fotos y reímos hasta más no poder.
In this part of Maracay, there are many shopping centers nearby, but the meeting point is usually the least attractive place to spend the day, which you can see in the photo above, the Parque Aragua Shopping Center. Once I met up with Isa, we had several options: Global, Hyper Jumbo, or Unicentro, which she didn't know. In fact, Las Américas is relatively close, but since we were walking, we would have had to walk under the harsh sun anyway. However, with so many stories accumulated since last year, the walk became very enjoyable. In fact, it's nice to share with another content creator. I never had to hold back that feeling of taking pictures of everything I saw around us.
En esta parte de Maracay hay muchos centros comerciales cerca, pero el punto de encuentro generalmente es el menos atractivo para pasar el día, el que pueden ver en la foto de arriba, el Centro Comercial Parque Aragua. Una vez que me encontré con Isa teníamos varias opciones, el Global, el Hyper Jumbo o el Unicentro que ella no conocía, de hecho hasta Las Américas está relativamente cerca, pero como andamos a pie sea como sea tendríamos que caminar bajo el inclemente sol, solo que entre tantos cuentos acumulados desde el año pasado la caminata se hizo muy divertida. De hecho es bueno compartir con otra creadora de contenido, nunca tuve que guardarme ese sentimiento de tomar fotografías de todo lo que veía a nuestro al rededor.
My wife Jhoxiris was also invited to this small meeting, but it's a good thing she didn't go 🤣 She's not very keen on walking in the sun, and it's not that I like it, but I was really amazed by everything around me. I love seeing the differences between the capital and this city, which is my hometown. In this area, there are many buildings, but they're not very tall. What you see is more empty space on the horizon, and you can enjoy an uninterrupted sky. Something that is similar is the presence of mountains, only here they are further away from the city center, but they are there, adorning the state of Aragua everywhere.
Mi esposa Jhoxiris también estaba invitada a este pequeño meeting, pero que bueno que no fue 🤣 a ella no le emociona mucho caminar bajo el sol, y no es que a mí me guste, pero realmente estaba maravillado con todo a mi al rededor. Me encanta ver las diferencias entre la capital y esta ciudad, que es mi ciudad natal. En esta zona hay muchos edificios, pero en realidad no son muy altos, es más lo que se ve vacío en el horizonte y se disfruta más de un cielo ininterrumpido. Algo que es parecido es la presencia de montañas, solo que aquí se ven más lejos del centro de la ciudad, pero ahí están, adornando al Estado Aragua por doquier.
This walk with Isabel stood out for the flowers we found along the way and the residential buildings, of which there are many. The predominant color is orange, and from every spot we visited, we could see the Sindoni Tower, which is my favorite in terms of architecture. The buildings are relatively spread out, and you can appreciate the deep blue sky contrasting with the green of the grass. You can really find some very beautiful urban views in that area of Maracay, at least for those of us who know how to appreciate beauty in every little detail.
Este paseo junto a Isabel destacó por las flores que nos encontramos en el camino y por los edificios residenciales, hay muchos de ellos. El color predominante es el naranja, y desde cualquier punto que visitamos se podía apreciar la Torre Sindoni, que es mi preferida respecto a arquitectura. Los edificios están relativamente separados y se puede apreciar el profundo azul cielo en contraste con el verde del césped. Realmente se puede encontrar vistas urbanas muy hermosas en esa zona de Maracay, al menos para quienes sabemos apreciar la belleza en cada pequeño detalle.
Being such a dear friend of Hive, I thought we would spend the whole day talking about the platform that brought us together, but that's not the case. With her, we talk about very interesting topics, especially some esoteric ones, and that's something I love about her. Isa is a very knowledgeable person with a special energy. In fact, as she herself says, it's a matter of vibes, and that's something that came naturally between us. For now, I just hope we can meet again. I have many appointments pending with other Hivers, but for some reason, she's the first one I've met with again. I hope we have many walks ahead of us 🙏
Siendo una amiga tan querida de Hive pensé que pasaríamos todo el día hablando sobre la plataforma que nos unió, pero no es así, con ella se habla de temas muy interesantes, especialmente de algunos temas esotéricos, y es algo que me encanta de ella. Isa es una persona con muchos conocimientos y con una energía especial, de hecho como ella misma dice, es cuestión de vibras, y eso es algo que nació natural entre nosotros. De momento solo espero que podamos volver a encontrarnos, tengo muchas citas pendientes con otros Hivers, pero por alguna razón ella es la primera con quien he repetido. Espero nos queden muchas caminatas por venir 🙏
