Saludos! Espero que estés bien! Hoy tuve una jornada de entrenamiento inolvidable en el corazón de Caracas. No solo realice mi jornada habitual con cruces, obstáculos, subidas y bajadas, sino que también me sumergí en la historia de nuestro país, de nuestros héroes, en especial la de nuestro Libertador, recorriendo lugares emblemáticos desde la Avenida Bolívar hasta finalizar en San Bernardino.
Nuestra ruta nos llevó por la Plaza Bolívar, epicentro político y cultural de la capital, donde la imponente estatua ecuestre del Libertador es protagonista. Este lugar ha sido testigo de los eventos significativos de nuestro país. Luego, pase por la Casa Natal de Simón Bolívar, un sitio que nos transporta al pasado para entender los orígenes del hombre que forjó nuestra independencia. Es un espacio que nos refresca que incluso los grandes héroes tienen sus inicios y a lo largo de su formación y crecimiento los define.
El recorrido fue también por el majestuoso Panteón Nacional, el lugar de descanso final para los próceres de la patria, y el impresionante Mausoleo de Simón Bolívar, personalmente no lo había visto tan cerca, una estructura moderna que alberga los restos del Libertador. Este contraste entre lo histórico y lo contemporáneo nos invita a reflexionar sobre el pasado, presente y futuro de Venezuela, muy cerca está la Biblioteca Nacional, el cual frecuente en varias ocasiones para consultar sus libros y la hemeroteca… hoy todo ha cambiado, y los chicos de ahora no visitan las bibliotecas.
