Back with the Literary Route, this time in our own community (English Spanish)

A warm greeting to all my friends at Hive, especially those who love culture. On this occasion, I would like to share a new experience with you involving the literary route. This time, it is in our community of San Lorenzo. I have always found it a bit complicated to organize activities where I live, because I feel that people develop a certain resistance when they know that those organizing the activity are also neighbors. It is not out of anger, but because it is a social paradigm in this small rural community to idolize outsiders. Even so, we took the plunge and risked offering our literary space to the young people of our community.  This time we held two days of workshops, but they were full of magic and creativity that left us all with our hearts full. On the first day, only four young people arrived shyly at the headquarters of the Freddy Wilson Acevedo Peréz High School, where we were waiting for them with our story and our activities. We began with an interactive reading of the story Kaliebirri Nae Kudeido, which we then discussed and analyzed together. It was incredible to see how the young women shared their ideas and opinions, building an enriching and respectful dialogue among themselves. The second day was an incredible experience, as the young women from the previous day spread the word among their peers, and this time there were more than 20 young people. It was great because on this occasion we brought another of the great stories that have accompanied us on our literary journey, Las mil grullas (The Thousand Cranes). This is a very special story for us, especially in August, when we remember the tragedy that occurred in Hiroshima with the brutal atomic bomb attack. Early in the morning, we arrived at Freddy Wilson High School with our backpacks full of books, pencils, and notebooks. The students were already waiting for us with smiles and enthusiasm, eager to immerse themselves in the world of words and imagination. But the Literary Route is not just about creativity and writing. We also explored important and difficult topics together, such as respect, diversity, and empathy. The children reflected on their own experiences and those of others, learning to put themselves in someone else's shoes and to value differences. When noon arrived, we said goodbye with hugs and promises to return soon. The children thanked us for the time we shared, for the laughter and for the lessons, promising to continue exploring their creativity and their love of words. We also thanked them. In reality, every encounter on the Literary Route in the communities is wonderful. And on this occasion in San Lorenzo, it was an unforgettable experience, full of creativity, learning, and love for literature. The children and teenagers showed us their passion for words and their ability to reflect and grow through writing. We took with us their laughter, their dreams, and their teachings. For there is nothing more humanizing than spaces dedicated to culture and the arts.  For now, I bid you farewell, hoping that you will enjoy this experience once again. I am always pleased to share a new discovery from my travels with you, as I feel that in some way I am collecting them in the form of joy and personal development.

**De regreso con la Ruta Literaria, esta vez en nuestra propia comunidad (Ingles Español)** Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente a los amantes de la cultura. En esta ocasión quiero compartirles una nueva experiencia con la ruta literaria. Esta vez en nuestra comunidad de San Lorenzo. Siempre me ha parecido un poco complicado realizar actividades en el lugar donde estoy residenciada, porque siento que las personas desarrollan cierta resistencias cuando sabe que quienes organizan la actividad son también vecinos. Ni es por rabia, sino porque es un paradigma social en esta pequeña comunidad del campo tener mucha idolatría por las persona foráneas. Aun así nos animamos y nos arriesgamos a ofrecer nuestro espacio de literatura a los jóvenes de nuestra comunidad.  Esta vez realizamos dos días de trabajo, pero llenos de magia y creatividad que nos dejaron a todos con el corazón lleno. El primer día fueron tan solo 4 jóvenes, que llegaron tímidamente a la sede del Liceo Freddy Wilson Acevedo Peréz, donde les esperábamos con nuestra historia y nuestras actividades. Comenzamos con una lectura interactiva del cuento Kaliebirri Nae Kudeido, que luego discutimos y analizamos juntos. Fue increíble ver cómo las jóvenes compartían sus ideas y opiniones, construyendo entre ellas un diálogo enriquecedor y respetuoso. El segundo día fue una experiencia increíble, ya que las jóvenes del día anterior corrieron la voz entre sus compañeros, esta vez fueron mas de 20 jóvenes. Fue grandioso porque para esta ocasión llevábamos otra de las grandes historias que nos han acompañado en la ruta literaria, y es Las mil grullas. Un cuento muy especial para nosotras y mucho mas en el mes de agosto, que cada año recordamos la tragedia provocada en Hiroshima, con el brutal ataque de la bomba atómica. Desde temprano en la mañana, llegamos al Liceo Freddy Wilson con nuestras mochilas llenas de libros, lápices y cuadernos. Los chicos ya nos estaban esperando con sonrisas y entusiasmo, ansiosos por sumergirse en el mundo de las palabras y la imaginación. Pero la ruta Literaria no solo se trata de creatividad y escritura. También exploramos juntos temas importantes y difíciles, como el respeto, la diversidad y la empatía. Los chicos reflexionaron sobre sus propias vivencias y las de los demás, aprendiendo a ponerse en el lugar del otro y a valorar las diferencias. Cuando llego el medio día, nos despedimos con abrazos y promesas de volver pronto. Los niños nos agradecieron por el tiempo compartido, por las risas y por las enseñanzas, prometiendo seguir explorando su creatividad y su amor por las palabras. Nosotras también les agradecimos a ellos. En realidad, cada encuentro de la ruta Literaria en las comunidades, son maravillosos. Y en esta ocasión en San Lorenzo fue una experiencia inolvidable, llena de creatividad, aprendizaje y amor por la literatura. Los niños y adolescentes nos mostraron su pasión por las palabras y su capacidad para reflexionar y crecer a través de la escritura. Nos llevamos con nosotros sus risas, sus sueños y sus enseñanzas. Pues no hay nada mas humanizante que los espacios dedicados a la cultura y las artes.  Por ahora me despido esperando que disfruten una vez mas de esta experiencia. Siempre me complace compartirles un nuevo encuarto de mis rutas, ya que siento que de alguna manera las voy coleccionando en forma de alegría y desarrollo personal.
