Hello Hivers! This is a late post from our recent trip to Siargao. During our last full day there, we spent a relaxing afternoon at Lamari Siargao for a casual day-use with my hubby and our daughter, Zadie. No big plans—just wanted to unwind, enjoy good food, and hang out by the pool together.
Lamari offers day-use access to their pool for Php 700 per adult, and the good thing is that Php 500 of that is consumable on food and drinks. It’s a great deal, especially if you’re planning to have lunch or snacks while enjoying the poolside view. Another plus—kids aged 6 and below can swim for free, so we didn’t have to worry about paying extra for Zadie, who couldn’t wait to jump in.
We got there just before happy hour, which runs from 2PM to 6PM, so that was a nice bonus! The place has this peaceful, open-air alfresco dining setup—lots of fresh air, lush greenery all around, and a beautiful view of the pool. Even though there were other guests around, some even taking photos at the pool area (which is totally understandable because it’s really Instagrammable), the whole vibe stayed calm and quiet. It’s the kind of place where you can really relax and just enjoy the moment.
For lunch, I ordered the tuna steak—super flavorful and cooked just right. Zadie had her favorite fish and chips, and we loved that they used real fish and not dory! My husband went for a beef dish (I can’t remember the exact name, but it looked and tasted great). Honestly, the food here is delicious and worth the price. We were all happy with what we ordered.
Another thing I really appreciated was the great customer service—the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. They also accept Gcash payments, which is super convenient, especially since most places in Siargao mainly accept cash.
It was such a nice spot for a chill family day. On our next trip to Siargao, I’d love to try staying at Lamari. I’ve heard their rooms get fully booked pretty fast, so I’ll definitely plan ahead next time!
