Paper Wasp macro photography

Here are some recent shots I took of a paper wasp that had flown onto my picnic table and died on top of a stick. All shots were taken with my canon t7 with a f/2.8l 100mm macro lens. Though the combination of the camera and the lens are not known for doing full-frame, it does lend itself for some stellar depth of field.

Luckily this paper wasp was dead...and not a yellow jacket. Paper wasps look quite similar to yellow jackets, but are more slender and by far are less aggressive. Even though paper wasps are not overly aggressive, they will attack you if they feel threatened.
