What is this work for couples?
Este fin de semana hemos vivido otra experiencia más en un nuevo año en un evento que realizamos junto a la comunidad al dentista de Paraguay, es un fin de semana de restauración para los matrimonios. Es un trabajo por el cual venimos orando y preparándonos en diferentes aspectos durante todo un año y en un fin de semana sucede todo lo que tanto anhelamos.
This weekend we had another experience in the new year at an event we held with the community and dentist in Paraguay. It's a weekend of restoration for marriages. It's a project we've been praying and preparing for in different ways for a whole year, and in one weekend, everything we've longed for happens.
Se inician las actividades recibiendo a las personas, el primer día desde que amanece hasta la cena se realizan actividades, charlas, dinámicas y muchas cosas más que fomentan la comunicación, el conocimiento Y la conexión en la pareja. El segundo día continuamos con dinámicas y ponencias espirituales lo que lleva a los participantes reflexionar acerca de sí mismo, y de cómo están llevando adelante sus relaciones en pareja.
The activities begin by welcoming people. On the first day, from dawn until dinner, we offer activities, talks, dynamics, and many other things that foster communication, knowledge, and connection within couples. On the second day, we continue with dynamics and spiritual presentations, which encourage participants to reflect on themselves and how they are managing their relationships.
Es un trabajo que realizamos con un gran equipo de muchos lugares de Paraguay y otros países como: Argentina, Brasil, Venezuela, Perú, y otros. Todos juntos trabajamos como equipo cada uno realizamos diferentes trabajos durante estos días, algunos son expositores, otros son coordinadores, otros se encargan de multimedia, otros de realizar tareas decorativas, otros de la limpieza, otros en el servicio y soporte de los invitados en todo tiempo, otros se encargan de las comidas, otros nos encargamos de mantener un ambiente agradable con la música y así muchos trabajan en diferentes puestos para lograr un evento inigualable que marca un antes y un después en la pareja de todos los que pueden asistir.
This is a project we do with a great team from many places in Paraguay and other countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, and others. We all work together as a team, each of us performing different tasks during these days. Some are exhibitors, others are coordinators, others are in charge of multimedia, others perform decorative tasks, others clean, others provide service and support to guests at all times, others are in charge of the meals, others are in charge of maintaining a pleasant atmosphere with the music, and so many work in different positions to achieve an unparalleled event that marks a before and after in the couple of all who can attend.
En medio de todo esto se producen momentos impresionantes, restauración de parejas que vienen después de mucho intentar mejorar su relación, un ejemplo: el hombre de la pareja había asistido más de 15 años de terapia con 11 terapeutas, su esposa también, habían intentado muchísimas formas de mejorar como pareja y se dieron la oportunidad de asistir a este evento (aunque a la mitad él quería volver a Argentina), después de haber viajado más de 1000 km se dio la oportunidad de darse una oportunidad más. Al final del evento presentó su testimonio indicando que fue un evento muy esclarecedor, pudo aprender y entender muchas cosas que durante los últimos años no podía comprender entendiendo que Dios usó a muchas personas para que hoy en tienda verdades que seguramente mejorará su matrimonio desde hoy en adelante.
In the midst of all this, impressive moments occur, restoring couples who come after many attempts to improve their relationship. An example: the man of the couple had attended more than 15 years of therapy with 11 therapists, his wife as well. They had tried many ways to improve as a couple and took the opportunity to attend this event (although halfway through he wanted to return to Argentina). After having traveled more than 1,000 km, he decided to give it another try. At the end of the event, he gave his testimony, stating that it was a very enlightening event. He was able to learn and understand many things he hadn't been able to comprehend over the past few years, understanding that God used many people to help him understand truths that will surely improve his marriage from now on.
Así como este, a lo largo de los años, vamos escuchando y observando diversas transformaciones que entendemos que Dios es el que hace la obra y nosotros simplemente somos los instrumentos. Esa es la razón por la que este fue un fin de semana de trabajo para las parejas o matrimonios.
Just like this, over the years, we hear and observe various transformations that make us understand that God is the one doing the work and we are simply the instruments. That is the reason why this was a weekend of work for couples or married couples.
