How are you everyone? I hope everything is fine in your ends.

I would like to show off the sunrise for today's blog but sadly I can't because it's been cloudy all day and tonight its raining already.

So today is another chapter in our planting journey this year. It's my day off also and I was late to wake up that's why my grandma was the one who started the activity this day.
She woke up early as usual and cook our breakfast. We had fried rice this morning plus fried eggplant with egg.
When I already finished eating I sat a little then I proceed immediately to the area where my grandma is.

As expected she already cleaned a part of the area and was planting some snake plants at the edge next to the rice field beside us.
By the way what we did this morning is to make the front of our house a garden once again since it's not in a good shape anymore for the past months after the typhoon. So by all means today we started to renovate it once more.
We're not touching it for the past months because we were traumatized by the sudden flood before that ruined all the planted vegetables infront of our house. But now as I checked the weather forecast everyday, there's no possible low pressure area and that's in favor to us.
As what you see in the photo above,my grandma trimmed the san francisco plants because it's becoming a hindrance already for the plants below it and that's not good as it will slow down the growth due to insufficient sunlight.

Just like this one, an eggplant planted 2 months already but it didn't grow that much due the reason I said above.

With that being said, I took the role of trimming the san francisco plants already for my grandma to focus on her flowering plants.
As you can see the plants is now already taller than me. That's a fact and it's not that visible in the photo because I just put it on a chair then set the timer to take a picture of me.

Along the process of doing the task, I noticed some bitter gourd seedlings that grew in one of my grandma's flowering plant. I called the attention of my grandma and said to her that those seedlings will just stay put there and I'm the one who will transplant them. She agreed and continue what she was doing.

Doing that also will help the shoots of our Malunggay tree to flourish even more. Even if plants have the capability to grow itself without the help of us humans, some plants need also the care of us humans in order to grow and that's the best example of give and take relationship.
We help them and they will provide what we need to survive each day.

As I took those shots of shoots, I was stunned by the beauty of this plant, an orchid, one of my grandma's flowering plant. I don't know it's name and that's just how wee see it here hihi. If a plant is an orchid then no matter what species is it, the name doesn't matter.

After I finished my task, I checked my grandma what she was doing and she's almost finished also. She began to position the metal bar where her plants will reside.
And while I sat near her, a buddy of mine just came and began to be playful once again.

It's Jaguar. As always he's been so energetic and sometimes I can't handle it but I'm doing my best to reciprocate what he's showing.
He really loves to bite my hands but not that totally bite.

And there he is looking far away for a moment and it's just cute when he's like that.
Fast forward, this afternoon I began to plant the eggplant seedlings to the area I cleaned this morning.

I tried to make a big hole as much as possible for it's roots to grow better.

The seedlings are already big so I had to be very careful in handling them to minimize the trauma specially to the roots because once the roots suffer a great damage then it can't be undone already.

After digging some holes, I immediately transplant all of them one by one then used my hands to gently pushed down the soil.

Right after I transplanted all of them I fetched some water to water them ofcourse. By doing this, it will give them the higher chance to survive specially if the soil is not that wet but if the soil is already wet then there's no need to do that. It will only cause rotting to the roots.

After it I just wished that they will grow healthy just like this one that bloomed already and no worms will eat their leaves while growing because that will greatly affect their recovery.
That eggplant by the way was the plant of my mother at the other house.

This is the result of what my grandma did today and it's just so good to the eyes to see once again her bougainvilleas blooming. It's just the beginning stage and they have more to offer as time goes by.

And to end this one even if I didn't get to see the sunset, I just want to share the majestic scenery in our place. It's not that very grand but I considered it as one.
The mountain ranges feat the vast plain of greenery rice field is just stunning no matter what you say hihi. I love this kind of peace and I just hope it will last forever.
Thank you for reading and once again,
Let's practice to plant our own food.
Great evening to all.
