¡Hola a todos!. Con mucha alegría quiero compartir con ustedes una canción que escribí recientemente y que aún no he estrenado junto a los muchachos de mi conjunto de música llanera. Se titula "A Medio Cupón", y vaya que cada frase que me salía me iba motivando un poco más a continuar esta composición. Trata sobre un hombre que ha tenido malas relaciones amorosas en el pasado, unas más tormentosas que otras, pero que con el paso del tiempo y ya con cierta edad puede ver hacia atrás en modo de perdón y aprendizaje, aunque consciente de las consecuencias que un mal amor puede dejar en ambas personas.
Pasan los años y algunos repiten frases dañinas como: "No encontrarás a alguien mejor", o quizás: "Te irá mal por todo el daño que me hiciste", y sí, en esta canción todavía hay algunas frases cargadas de dolor, pero en general lo que hay fluido ha sido el perdón y el hecho de estar bien y conforme con lo que somos hoy. Me encanta cuando una persona llega al verdadero punto de perdonar y dejar ir, incluso desearle el bien a esa persona, después de todo lo que has vivido con ella te hizo aprender para no cometer nuevos errores en el presente. Para todo debemos ser agradecidos en la vida.

Pocas veces he estrenado una canción directamente en Hive, aunque sí lo he hecho en el pasado; espero grabarla próximamente y compartir la versión en estudio con todos ustedes. Years go by and some people repeat hurtful phrases such as: “You won't find anyone better,” or perhaps: “You'll suffer for all the harm you did to me,” and yes, in this song there are still some phrases laden with pain, but in general what flows through it is forgiveness and the fact of being well and content with who we are today. I love it when a person reaches the true point of forgiveness and letting go, even wishing that person well, after all that you have experienced with them has taught you not to make new mistakes in the present.
