While strolling in the mall and done making meet-ups, I noticed some people carrying a bright, yellow paper bag in the direction I was going. 🤔
Maybe there was a giveaway, I thought to myself, Hahah. 😆 You know, I will take whatever is free. So, like a curious cat, I followed the trail to see where the yellow bag was coming from.
So, at the end of the path, it was a “new” store. It was a retail store called KKV. A retail store just like Daiso and Miniso. They sell an affordable variety of products like snacks, makeup, accessories, and even bathroom products, targeting young shoppers.
So why not look around, hehe! 👏😙
I believe these are the Popmart toys, the Labubu, and stuff. 😄 Hmm, so nice to open them in packets, but I do not think I will invest in these, the old soul kicking in.
Maybe if I were a teenager, I would be collecting some. Someone offered me a Skimis but politely declined as I knew to myself that it would just collect dust in my cupboard.
Soft to touch and uber cute! ✨ I already have a character pillow of a chicken and a fox from Miniso. Not as functional as the real pillow, but nice to put on the couch.
I was not surprised to see a variety of bottles of tea. It was beautifully organized by color. I felt like I was back in China. So colorful! A dollar or two for these teas is not bad at all. You can get one for $0.80.

I think the Cool Daily Series is the best product I have seen in the store so far. Since the weather in the Philippines is hot, especially from March to May, this is a good buy. My favorite was the cooling tube for the neck.
Ten minutes in the store and I was so overwhelmed with the variety of products. There was too much stuff in every aisle. Just like me, many shoppers were taking their time to look around. It was like a never-ending rabbit hole.
KKV got these wooden puzzles, perfect for friends coming over. My worry was losing a piece!
✨Mugs, and mugs!✨ The choice of colors was so markety. Very girly and pastel. Girls would love these! They have different designs too, like this ribbon mug with a holographic coating.
For me, it would not be as functional as an ordinary mug coz of its shape and handle. I might use this one in a while if I have one. A mug is $6, not bad! But I am sure I can find a similar one with a lower price online.
Totebags with cartoon prints. I imagine using this in a quick grocery run or just a quick coffee meet up with a friend. We have a no-plastic bag policy in grocery stores so this tote bag is a nice grocery bag. 👍
Fashion accessories -hair clips, hairbands, earrings, and all the girly stuff. I think there were more products for the young female audience compared to the male audience.
Not that I limit the accessories to female only. It can be worn by anyone, but I do hope they add more items for guys, coz sometimes I wear guys' clothing too like caps and necklaces.
I do keep my skincare and bath routine simple but effective. I always try to try new products every now and then just to see what is up in the market.
Very cute and aesthetic for my bathroom, but as I looked at the ingredients, I can say that most of them were not good for sensitive skin. I prefer organic and less junk ingredients on my skin.
I had fun looking around KKV. It would be great if they had free samples of the snacks, hehe. 😉
I got the trendy yellow bag with some goodies to take home. I got two packets of Chinese tea, guava and mango (not for me) and a honey lip balm.
