What are your plans today? 😁 Seems a nice weather to have a little walk or bike around. I woke up with a headache this morning, perhaps staying late. A friend of mine recommends having a coffee to let the blood pump. I do not drink coffee often, but here it is on my side table while typing this blog. 😁
For Day 11, we have a snack! I am not a big snacker... I prefer waiting for the whole hot meal. I'm not a fan of salty chips or anything dry like those cookies bought from the grocery store. I prefer fresh-oven baked ones. Ahh~ but if I have to go full-on snack, I will have a chicken burger! 😁 I am not too sure if burgers are like meals on the west side, but where I am from, it can be considered a snack, like eating it watching movies, or in between meals.
Here is my Art Process
Sketching the initial pose. I wanted Ocean Healer's facial expression to be happy to see a burger he was about to devour. I wanted to express it through my eyes as well as by opening my mouth wider. Next, I used a solid brush this time for the lineart.
I chose different shades of under the spectrum of blue. Looks like it though, haha. It has an undertone of blue to match Ocean Healer's true palette.
I started applying some shadows and shine using a hard airbrush and a flat brush.
Final Art
I chose a simple background of just a gradient color and some diagonal lines. I used a speech balloon and text tool to create that something on the left side, haha. Lastly, I added a white border to the character.
