Sí, necesito pasar toda una semana procesando y editando mis fotografías en blanco y negro y estoy comenzando hoy con esto. Así que de eso se trata mi publicación de hoy para ustedes en #Hive... Aquí tradicionalmente se dice que la semana comienza el día Domingo. Pero para efectos prácticos, comerciales y laborales, nuestra semana comienza los Lunes, así que para esta serie de publicaciones me basaré en el Lunes como día de arranque...

I don't know if I'll complete this whole week of B&W posts based only on street photos (my favorites and the ones I usually take the most) because I have some recent photos of rural environments and macros in nature, which I had planned to process and edit this week. So it's very possible that those photos will end up losing their colors and becoming part of this monochromatic visual proposal which I plan to share with you here on #Hive in the next few days. But the truth is, for some reason, both psychological and creative inspiration, I need to spend hours sitting in front of my PC converting my photos to black and white. I love doing that and this time I need a pretty high dose of it, I'm sure.
No sé si completaré toda esta semana de publicaciones en B&W basadas únicamente en fotos callejeras (mis favoritas y las que más acostumbro hacer) pues tengo algunas fotos de entornos rurales y macros en la naturaleza recientes, las cuales tenía planeado procesar y editar esta semana. Así que es muy probable que esas fotos terminen perdiendo sus colores y formando parte de esta propuesta visual monocromática la cual tengo proyectada compartir con ustedes aquí en #Hive estos día siguientes. Per lo cierto, es que por alguna razón entre psicológica y de inspiración creativa, necesito pasas horas sentado en frente mi PC convirtiendo mis fotos al blanco y negro, amo hacer eso y esta vez necesito una dosis bastante alta de eso, estoy seguro...

I know that half of my photography work shared here on #Hive lately is in B&W. But this week I'll be sharing it 100% in this monochrome scheme... While building this post, I considered the possibility of using some variations like sepia or monochromatic toning based on blues or yellows, but I gave up completely, as I feel like I need to do a lot of work in "pure black and white with no nuances." I need the contrast, the eloquence, the drama, and the sincerity of black and white in its purest form. So, this is where I'll be aiming my creative process this week... 🙂
Ya sé que la mitad de mi trabajo fotográfico compartido aquí en #Hive, últimamente es en B&W. Pero esta semana estaré compartiendo en 100% en este esquema monocromático... Mientras construía esta publicación pensé en la posibilidad de usar algunas variantes como el sepia o atenuaciones monocromáticas basadas en azules o amarillos, pero desistí de plano, pues siento que necesito hacer un montón de trabajos en "blanco y negro puro y sin matices". Necesito el contraste, la elocuencia, el drama y la sinceridad de blanco y negro es su estado más puro. Así que es a esto hacia donde estaré apuntando mi proceso creativo esta semana... 🙂

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7
