Without a doubt, this was a week of many enjoyable hours for me processing and editing my black and white photographs... This is the final post of my "Black & White Week" and I'm including in it many cryptic photos, the kind in which I like to rely on abstraction and simplicity to convey the way I see things in my street environment. I sincerely hope that for those who follow my work here on #Hive, this week of content exclusively based on black and white photography has been as enjoyable to appreciate as it was for me to work on these photos and build each post with them... I invite you then to continue forward and appreciate my work today for you here on #Hive...
Indudablemente, esta fue para mi una semana de muchas horas placenteras procesando y editando mis fotografías en blanco y negro... Esta es publicación final de mi "Semana Blanco & Negro" y estoy incluyendo en ellas muchas fotos cripticas, de esas en las cuales me gusta apoyarme en la abstracción y la simplicidad para transmitir la manera como yo veo las cosas en mi entorno callejero. Espero sinceramente que para aquellos que siguen mi trabajo aquí en #Hive, esta semana de contenido exclusivamente basado en fotografías blanco y negro, haya sido tan agradable de apreciar como para mi fue el trabajar en estas fotos y construir cada publicación con ellas... Today I'm here in front of my PC, a little "silent"... I mean, my thoughts are sort of frozen, and I'm doing this with the inertia of what I learned and memorized a couple of hours ago while I was working on these photos... I have days like this, where I find a kind of consciousness within me that goes beyond interacting with everyday life and seems to be an almost equanimous "observer," without willpower over my actions... I know it sounds strange, but that's how it happens to me. And so I wanted to write it down here, because maybe someone will read this and something similar will happen to them... And whenever I feel like this, a statement comes to mind that I don't know where I learned it, but it goes like this: "The mind needs words to be well, but the conscience needs silence to be well"...
Hoy estoy aquí en frente de mi PC un poco "silente"... Me refiero a que mis pensamientos están un como detenidos y estoy haciendo esto con la inercia de lo aprendido y memorizado hace un par de horas mientras trabajaba en estas fotos... Tengo días así, en donde encuentro en mi un tipo de consciencia la cual está más allá del interactuar con la cotidianidad y parece ser un "observante" casi ecuánime y sin arbitrio para con mi proceder... Ya sé que suena extraño, pero así me sucede. Y entonces quise escribirlo aquí, porque quizás alguien lea esto y resulte que le pase algo similar... Y cuanto me siento así, me viene a la mente una afirmación la cual no sé donde aprendí, pero que dice así: "La mente necesita palabras para ser feliz, pero la conciencia necesita silencio para serlo"...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7
