This is part of an exercise in processing, editing, and visual assembly I've been doing with images that, in my personal judgment, meet the criteria of looking great in color and also in monochrome, especially in pure black and white...
Hoy tengo para compartir con ustedes una nueva selección de mis más recientes fotografías callejeras. Esto es parte de un ejercicio de procesado, edición y ensamble visual, el cual he estado realizando con imágenes las cuales, según mi juicio particular, cumplen con la condición de lucir muy bien en color y también en esquema monocromático, especialmente en blanco y negro puros...

What do you think of this work?... I find it really interesting. I've always kept in mind that many of my photographs (especially street shots) have chromatic characteristics that make them particularly interesting and eloquent, but also have enough "soul and message" to look great in black and white. I, personally, am more inclined to process my work in monochromatic formats, but I'm no stranger to the charm of colors, primarily as compositional elements. In fact, I agree with many photographers in their opinions that point to color as "something that pleases the eye" and B&W as "something that pleases the psyche." So, based a bit on all of this, I end up making these assemblages that I've come to call "diptychs," and the truth is, I've really enjoyed it, and that's why I'm sharing them here with you on #Hive... 😉
¿Qué tal les parece este trabajo?... Yo lo encuentro francamente interesante. Siempre he tenido en perspectiva el hecho de que muchas de mis fotografías (especialmente las callejeras) tienen características cromáticas que las hacen particularmente interesantes y elocuentes, pero teniendo también la suficiente "alma y mensaje" como para lucir muy bien en blanco y negro. Yo, particularmente, soy más proclive a procesar mi trabajo en formatos monocromático, pero no soy en nada ajeno al encanto de los colores principalmente como elementos compositivos. De hecho, coincido con mucho fotógrafos en opiniones que apuntan al color como "algo que agrada a la vista" y al B&W como "algo que agrada a la psiquis". Así qué basándome un poco en todo esto, es que termino haciendo estos ensambles a los cuales he querido llamar "dípticos" y la verdad, lo he disfrutado un montón y es por eso que estoy compartiéndolos aquí con ustedes en #Hive...😉

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7
